ducatiboy
yeah that looks waaaaay better then 99.99% of the sports cars on the road now adays. sign me up! I didn't say it looked better than anything. But if you ever get a chance, drive one for a week. I had a friend with a WRX and we switched for a week. He didn't like driving the crown vic, but he was amazed how much better his commute was. Just drive fast in the left lane and everyone moved aside. Cops would wave at him no matter how fast he would go. I told him the stories of how great this car was, not technically the vehicle itself, but what it brought out in other drivers. He didn't believe me till he tried it for a week. And I like the way it looked. This kind of car was "me". I traded it in for a 300C and was not happy with the reliability and the fact I "lost" the cop car thing. My aviator is my wifes old truck. After I get rid of this, I'm going back. But I'm waiting to see how the Chargers are used in my area... there are a few. If my local guys stick with the vic's I'm getting another one.
T
OK here is a rundown on the laser jammer but a little backround first radar jamming is illegal and radar is is regulated by the FAA laser is regulated by the FDA and is legal to be jammed laser is a light source that can be fooled by many different methods, but the most affective is the blinder/escort/bel products the trick is this your driving 85mph in a 70mph highway. your jamming device lights up like the 4th of July. you slow down to 70mph and then turn off your jammer and let the officer lock onto you at the speed limit. this way the officer (altough supspects you of speeding) has a readout of the 70mph limit and has no "real" reason to come after you. This will stand up in court (i have had many customers do this) any other questions feel free to ask
tillithz
+1 for being able to drive fast ducatiboy, -1 for my view on the way it looks +1 on your view of it looking good so you fair with a +
ducatiboy
+1 for being able to drive fast ducatiboy, -1 for my view on the way it looks, +1 on your view of it looking good so you fair with a +1 Actually the really fun part was to drive around and watch people slam on their brakes... or when they were just about to make an illegal left they would suddenly change what they were going to do. People would see that car and get scared and be very "nice" on the road. I literally laughed out loud at least once per time in the vehicle seeing someone about to do something illegal and then quickly not and they thought they were smooth about it but they were so not. It's worth at least another +1 And those things are dirt cheap and pretty reliable. Much better than my 300c was. this way the officer (altough supspects you of speeding) has a readout of the 70mph limit and has no "real" reason to come after you. This will stand up in court (i have had many customers do this) The only problem is that here in NJ, cops are "trained speed judges" and their guess at how fast you were going does stand up in court. My buddy has argued this personally and won and gave someone a ticket without a radar gun reading. Of course each state might be different. It might even change depending on the judge. cntrylvr79
I think the obvious solution got missed here. You could just not speed...
