bit_bucket
Looks like Pioneer listened. The new and much nicer AppRadio has been announced: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/AppRadio/AppRadio+2+(SPH-DA100) What do you think?
djsri
What! first one's not been out five minutes then they bring another out with larger screen. Not impressed, they should think about keeping the other customers happy and sorting out the issues with the first release. VBLUE42
Don't expect it to work as you would assume. Still nice to finally see though.

Hi, any ideas on how Android will integrate with the new Pioneer decks? Based on some emails I had with the Aha Radio development team, they have integrated control into their software, and were waiting for Pioneer to implement this control on their decks. So I assume it will be through bluetooth.

As long as they treat this like Apple and make the annual upgrades hardware based, while they software continue to support all (or most) previous versions, I won't complain. rsquared
Here's a brief video by Sonic Electronix @ CES where you can see images of the compatible apps for Apple and Android: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JH9zgqowVc8 Below is the app list on the Pioneer site. From the video it looks like there's more apps than what's listed on the site. Also, wonder why Waze is supported for Android but not iOS. APPS Entertainment MIXTRAX (iOS, Android) Pandora® Radio (iOS, Android) Rdio® (iOS) Aupeo! Personal Radio (iOS, Android) StreamS™ HiFi Radio (iOS) Livio Radio (iOS) Navigation/Travel Maps (iOS, Android) MotionX GPS Drive™ (iOS) INRIX® Traffic (iOS, Android) Waze (Android) Utility DashCommand™ (iOS, Android) Calendar (iOS, Android) Contacts (iOS, Android) Photos (iOS, Android) Lifestyle
