mobiletrance
Here's what someone wrote about the vendor on this website: http://www.dcresource.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15222 Â "The Company you are referring to has it's URL registered under 1151 McDonald Ave, Brooklyn, NY, which (when doing a google search of the address) also came up as the address of All Star Camera. http://www.resellerratings.com/seller2252.html). When doing a whois search of both companies, the have different URL addresses, and also different admins (however both are named simon). I would say that the companies are the same and I would definitely stay away from both." mobiletrance
This would be my reply then:  ----------------------------------------------------------------------------  Dear Evjen,  I am Barrister Martins Dike. (SAN), a Solicitor; I am the Personal Attorney to one Engr. Michael Evjen, a national of your country, who Used to be a contractor with NNPC here in Nigeria. On the 10th October 2002 my client, his wife and entire family were involved in a car accident along 3rd mainland bridge Express Road Lagos Island. Unfortunately they all lost their lives in the event of the accident, since then I have made several inquiries to their Embassy to locate any of my clients extended relatives, this has also proved unsuccessful.  After these several Unsuccessful attempts, I decided to trace his Relatives, to locate any member of His family but of no avail, hence I contacted you since you bear the same surname to my late client. I contact you to assist in repatriating the money in addition, property left behind by my client before they get Confiscated or declared Unserviceable by the bank where these huge deposits were lodged.  Particularly, the Bank where the deceased had an account valued at about US$7 million dollars. Consequently, the bank issued me a notice to provide the next of kin or have the account confiscated within the next ten official working days. Since I have been Unsuccessful in locating the relatives for over 2 years now, I seek your consent to present you as the next of kin of the deceased, regardless of your country, with your name/address; some vitals will be obtained on your favor which will back you as the next of kin the deceased. The proceeds of this account valued at US$7 Million dollars can be Paid to you and then you and me can share like this 45% for me and 45% for you, while we will set aside 10% to pay back for any expenses or tax as your government may require. I have all necessary legal documents that can be used to back up any claim we may make.  All I require is your honest cooperation to enable us seeing this deal through. I guarantee that this will be executed under a legitimate arrangement that will protect you from any breach of the law.  you don't have to be a blood relative of my client to claim this inheritance. Pls reply so that I can elucidate on how to proceed next, Please Reply urgently to enable us discuss further. Via this E-mail address: martinsdike02@iol.pt  Best Regards,  Barrister Martins Dike. Audiguy82
thecamerapros.com had a typo and initially had the AVIC-D3 listed for $699.99 The guy who wanted to buy my AVIC-D3 showed me the link and I called them to verify. They told me that it was a typo and when I refreshed their page I saw the new price of $829.99 + 39.99 s/h. Â I wonder if they'll honor that price if someone ordered it at $699.99. maxazor
I contacted them about the same issue. I have yet to hear a response, but I plan on filing a complaint with the BBB, FTC & post a comment on the consumerist.com if they fail to meet the price they posted. It's a classic case of bait & switch where they deflate the price to drive customers to their website pnly to demostrate a different price.
