MisFit
if you cant get it at the radio, than try white/orange, black 40 pin plug under center console pin
PDSchweitzer
Pin 14 only is used/hot when a Reverse Sensor Option is installed from the factory..
kenchar
Interesting. On the diagrams that I looked at the VSS was comming from the ABS Control module to the radio. The connector to the Reverse Sensing System is shown as under the console. One way to check it would be if your factory radio has the feature that increases the volume as you increase speed. It should be selectable in the radio Menu. I installed the D2 in my Fusion and did not connect VSS as there isn't one. Unit works great without it. Ken.

Nytehawk
Think this would work for a '04 Freestar?
Jaradel
Think this would work for a '04 Freestar? He's asking for me. When CC installed my Z2, they did great work but for some reason failed to connect the VSS wire. Now, I was reading in the Pioneer manual that the VSS wire connection is optional, because you can't access it in some vehicles, so I didn't think much of it. But now I'm wondering - did they forget to hook it up, or was there no way they could?
