  1. Interesting. On the diagrams that I looked at the VSS was comming from the ABS Control module to the radio. The connector to the Reverse Sensing System is shown as under the console. One way to check it would be if your factory radio has the feature that increases the volume as you increase speed. It should be selectable in the radio Menu. I installed the D2 in my Fusion and did not connect VSS as there isn't one. Unit works great without it. Ken.

  4. Depends on your car. What car do you have it installed in? Most cars that have an in glass antenna have a signal amplifier. On my Fusion, power is provided through the radio harness. For that reason I connect the Power Antenna Lead from the AVIC to the proper wire on the adapter and it works just fine.
  5. I used a small jewellers screw driver and gently pried the it out. If you look closely and push/pull on the wire, you can see the part that holds it into the plug. I released mine with the small jewelers screw driver and when I installed it made sure it locked in. Sorry my description is so vague but it has been a bit since I did it.
