D3 Pixel Height & Width

I would like to modify some of the built in backgrounds and then load them as custom backgrounds...

 

Anybody know if you can copy the background images off of the NAV DVD and then open them up in Photoshop or something like that???

 

If so, do you know where they are located on the NAV DVD???

im a bit perplexed... i took some photos and cropped them in photoshop... saved them as jpg... added them to a CD in a pictures folder with a bunch of other backgrounds (normal desktop size) and when i try to select the one i cropped i get a data read error... BUT all the other ones come up just fine... WTF

Ok, for those that have done this with a success, how about listing exactly what you did.

 

I've got photoshop, so I'm no noob here :lol:

 

However, my first attempt left the photo way to large and it did not fit in the screen. My next attempt left the photos way to small. I tired the 1000 x 480 px at 96 dpi and it resulted in photos way to small.
