I am pretty sure you misunderstood, but I said the new software update will update it to new Z2 bypass. And please, coocho, dont post your repetitive newbie posts with topics that have been talked to death. Yes, I know pioneer makes maps for the other units, but considering it is hard drive based, I doubt you can just stick in new europe dvds and everything will be fine. There have already been plenty of posts on this. Hmm... repetative "newbie" posts? You can't count. I don't have enough total posts to even HAVE repetative posts. The very fact that the Z1 is HD based means that updating via DVD or CD is entirely possible... heck, you can update your background with a CD... I can only assume that the brains that made the Z1 put the ability to update the map in the software. Take your insults and your attitude and put it to good use. You have yet to provide any actual facts. If you have actual facts, why not post them? If you have actual factual links, why not post them? And I *didn't* misunderstand. My research indicates that there is NO Z2 bypass. So telling me it removes the Z2 bypass is null... I asked about the Z1 bypass in regards to the Z1... think, think again, THEN post...
