pontiacpassion
8) Budget - $39-$139 is a good barometer musikman1
I was just wondering on Pioneer AVIC universal cameras start at about $170. Where can I find a decent rear camera for a little less then the Pioneer that is compatible with the D2 unit? Thanx
Aconite
http://www.crimestopper.com/ I have one of the PlateCams ... works very well, even in the dark.
Dubbedown
i wanted the pioneer camera but i dont like how it's so out there... it's not factory looking and anyoen can just rip it off. i was hoping to find a camera that's less obtrusive... aside from the license plate frame one, does anyone have other suggestions? GnatGoSplat
I think looking factory is going to depend on how clever your install is. I have the Pioneer camera and it is the shallowest non-plate mounted camera I've found. All the other generic ones are about the size of a trunk lock cylinder and over 1-1/2" deep. GnatGoSplat
Nah, sorry, I haven't installed it yet!
BobyYoo
here are some pics of my install my cam was bought at mp3playerstore.com , it is the trunk lock style cylinder they also sell on ebay, it is the nightvision model. Not the best, but it does the job for $40shipped. Nightvision is useless if there is a car behind you with the headlight on, you won't see anything in the screen. if no car behind, it is cool, it looks like you're playing grand tourismo reversed hehe

BobyYoo
imported with the 15years law i believe u.s is 25years, so you got 8 more years to wait to import one of those
