fio316a
Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum. I installed an AVIC-D1 into my Toyota 4Runner and just realized that I'm having a problem with it. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue. The unit will not turn off if the source is on AM or FM and the key is taken out of the ignition. If the source is CD and I take the key out, the unit shuts off. Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.
NYRngrs24
wired correctly? did you try resetting the unit?
drayla
press and hold SRC and it will turn off. The unit doesnt have an off switch so it was installed to take power when the key is in ACC or the engine is running. If its wired to have continuous power i dunno what to do. but i know the src button will turn off the audio source

NOT-MEE
I think you might want to look at the power ant lead it sounds like it is connected incorrectly. The power Ant. might be feeding back voltage and keeping the radio on. Change the ant. setting in initial setup to go on with source. If it does not turn off you have a wiring issue.
