boosted
Hello everyone. I want to thank you all first this site is great!!!. I would like to create my own backgrounds but it seems that the links to the programs needed arent working- can someone help?
necro
You need a graphics program to make a 1000x480 jpg. Then make a folder called pictures on a CD and save them. Be sure the total size of the CD is around 5 megs or more (you can use any file to increase the size). Insert into the D3, import picture.
2MCHPSI
I cannot get ths to work either. I create a data CD using Nero 6. I create a folder called PICTURES and then burn everything in that folder. I put some stuff on it to make sure it is 5MB or so, and still... nothing. Even when using the images from Pioneers website! 2MCHPSI
OK, I figured it out. The PICTURES folder itself has to be more than 2MB, not just the disc's total size. Hope that helps someone else...
brikkman1
it did not work for me... I'm using the standard windows data disk burn, are you saying that won't work??? It has to have that finalized and all that blah blah?
2MCHPSI
Yes, the disk HAS to be finalized.
necro
Sorry I left out that info. When using Nero, it automatically finalizes the disc so I didn't think to mention that. Yes, the pictures folder itself needs to be more than 5 mbs (actually less but 5 is safe). Just be sure the pictures are the right size and format (jpg and I think non-progressive).
