orbitalpunk
Hi guys, Is there a way to check that the VSS cable is attached properly thru the head unit? Thanks
Ashhong
Go to the vehicle dynamics menu from the nav. If its not working, the MPH gauge should say "not accessible". at least, thats what mine says right now
JasonH
No, the MPH gauge will work once it gets a good GPS Signal. To see VSS status, go to settings, then hardware info, then 3D status. If it shows a number for the speed pulse, it's working.
lalo56
i checked mine and no pulse but the speed is accurate. Would you recommend me to back to installer and ask to connect the vss to it?
orbitalpunk
does the speed pulse need to match my actual speed? my speed pulse is usually about half of what my actual speed is.
MisFit
no, the speed pulse will vary from car to car. its not going to match your speed. the speedometer is accurate through voltage sensing even without the vss hooked up.
