JLeach1234
Hi, I have an avic-5000nex. When I hook up my iPod classic to the USB (1 or 2), it cuts bluetooth off. Phone is a galaxy s4. How can I make these coexist? I'd prefer my Bluetooth stayed connected and my iPod worked as an iPod. I bought the pioneer iPod cable and all.

That's been my biggest gripe about my 8000NEX, and I may very well end up selling it because of it.
Mr. Furious
That's odd. I have an iPod Classic hooked up at all times to USB1 on my 8000 and my Galaxy S5 always stays connected via Bluetooth. Are you talking about Bluetooth purely for calls, or also for media playback? I only use mine for calls, so maybe that's the difference.

Harleycop567
The only way to get bluetooth musuc like pandora is to get the appropriate cable and hook it up to radio. I have an old ipod video and streaming music required me to unplug ipod. stupid setup and cost extraoney for cables but works flawlessly. Poor design in my opinion. Or maybe way to force extra sales......
