donmontalvo Posted March 22, 2015 Report Share Posted March 22, 2015 I wasn't trying to be a Pioneer fan boy. I'm not happy with how they're "fixing" issues only on new(er) models. Just saying the Apple iTunes Store process isn't the easiest, even updates have to go through a vetting process. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
epsilonkore Posted March 23, 2015 Report Share Posted March 23, 2015 My guess is that there is a glitch in the firmware requiring both the app in the app store AND yet another firmware update. I am betting the hang up is any kind of change to the approved firmware on the units. Since CarPlay was added, Apple now has to vet their firmware before allowing it to be released.
