speedbeat04
Hey guys, I'm the new owner of an Avic 80dvd. Unfortunately, the eject button doesn't work. It doesn't read the dvd either. Did you have the same problem with any other Avic? The problem seems to be the dvd support into the Avic. Any solutions or advices? PaisanNYC
Actually I think the problem is buying a used piece of equipment that is several years old, and then think the whole line of AVICs is at fault. Welcome to AVIC411.com
speedbeat04
I know the 80dvd is a bit old, but I was wondering if there is anything I could do to fix that.

nester
I have a AVIC-88DVD that was under a seat in a previous vehicle, the front cover where the eject button got hit often, unbeknownst to anyone.. the solder joints where the circuit boards connect broke clean on mine.. and just need to be resoldered right now.. That may be the same problem on yours.
