nips
I bought my truck with the D2/xm receiver installed. Today I swapped out the xm receiver with the GEX-P10XMT so that I could utilize navtraffic. Now the gps is off by about a mile and a half and the clock doesn't work. anyone have any idea whats going on?
trol1374
have you tried to reset it?
whtcrxghst
If the clock doesn't work, that means its not getting satellite reception. Did you plug the GPS antenna back in?
nips
the gps antenna gets plugged into the back of the xm receiver correct?
PaisanNYC
No The GPS antenna gets plugged into the D2, and the XM antenna gets plugged into the XM unit.
nips
ok thanks, that must be my problem then, ihave the gps antenna plugged directly into the reciever, but I'm still getting xm music fine?
HiFiSi
I believe they are pretty much the same antenna. It's just that you need one for the XM and one for the nav.
