coop
My touchscreen is off by about a half inch on the left side, which is where the slide bar is. How can I re calibrate the screen without taking it in for warranty?

siberfish
Remove any disk's from the headunit. Hold reset and eject together, then release the reset button but continue to hold eject. The screen will go in and the come back out. The screen will now say to press the reset button - DONT FOLLOW THIS PROMPT. Then with joystick, (knob on the rigt side) follow this, by moving the joystick in the directions below: Up, Right, Up, Right, Down, Right, Down, Righ and then finally press the joystick inwards, in the center. Now, the password screen will come on for a few seconds followed by the test mode. When you are on the first page in the secret menu, you are presented with the option of Remocon touch panel test. You then need to find the setup calibration option. Once you enter the calibration section, you should see a cross on the screen. Use a stylus or similiar and touch the center of the cross as accurately as possible, you will find another cross will appear, do the same to this and all the other crosses that appear. Eventually, the monitor will tell you that you have completed the calibration. If you messsomething else, use the BAND button (on the top of the screen's edge when it is out) as the BACK button.
