  1. Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows how to have music play wirelessly from your iPhone to the F90BT synced up via bluetooth? Is this possible? I can make / receive calls / listen to voicemails. However I was wondering if I could listen to music the same way. Thanks for your time guys.
  2. how do I boot in test mode? Do I need to load a file into a usb drive? Is it the same way as doing an update?
  3. I've tried hitting the reset button in front with a ballpoint pen numerous times. Is there a hard reset button somewhere?
  4. So I've had my f90bt ever since the release date, all of the updates are current. However, a few days ago upon boot up the back up camera got stuck in view mode while I was driving. When I put the car in reverse, they back up camera went away and the menu appeared. (completely opposite of what is supposed to happen). I've rebooted many times with no luck. So a couple days later I get in my car and the f90bt begins to boot up but then completely powers down. It has been doing this for the last 24 hours. I turn on the car and the splash screen is only up for about 10 seconds before the
  5. The place where I bought my f90bt just called me and told me that the update will be released next Tuesday and it will eliminate the slow boot up time. I cant wait!
  6. Same here, ONLY when I am on the ipod screen for some reason... Strange.
  7. No kidding, I cant wait to download the update when I get home 2nite. Maybe I can finally use the VR catalog problem free.
  8. F-series model: f90bt Phone make/model: iphone Ease of connection: Connects in about 1 minute. Always connects also which is nice. Phone book transfer: Very easy, pressed one button and all my contacts transfered in about 5 min. It stores them so I only had to do this once. Sound quality: I think its perfect. The people on the other line say the same thing, they cant even tell that I'm on a speaker phone. I've even been able to use it with the windows down going at a pretty reasonable speed. Comments: Overall I think the bluetooth works really well and is a pretty cool feature. Sor
  9. This is an annoying issue to me as well. Those empty boxes eat up a lot of screen real estate, and look pretty stupid when not navigating. Another thing that can also go away is the "Multi-info Window" at the lower left (distance to go, arrival time, etc.). When not navigating, these all show zeros, so they're just taking up space. I realize it can be turned off by turning "Full Screen Cockpit" on, but then it's ALWAYS off... -Eric Agree 100%. I HATE that. It has to be so easy to write code to tweak something like that. "If destination plotted, turn boxes on". "If destination plotted
  10. Tell that to the people who installed my unit! I literally argued with them for 30 minutes about how the mute wire came disconnected and they wouldn't believe me (the 15mph video lockout I mentioned earlier). They finally decided to check it out again and what do ya know, the mute wire wasn't connected. Bypass works now
  11. maybe its her last day on the job lol
  12. works flawlessly for my f90bt. Be careful though, the mute wire pops out easily! Happened to me and the video starting shutting off at 15mph. Works perfect now!
  13. From my experience, I've had to leave VR catalog on all the time. It does not retain the info if you do it once and turn it off (leaving the ipod plugged in all the time). It's getting faster though. It now only takes about 5 minutes to fully load every time I turn on my car.
  14. x2! I am very happy with my f90bt and have no regrets buying it. I was very mad when I ordered one, but when I actually got it installed and thought the thing was pretty cool. Yes they do need to fix the voice recognition and overall lag of the unit, but those are my only complaints. Overall, its an 8 out of 10 for me.
