keeper in your version is your voice commands button working? I noticed today in my verison when I press the knob nothing happens...

I have another favor to ask, I would like to press the compass and have the itinerary pop up. I cannot figure out how to do it. Can you post "find" and "replace" code so this can work?? Thanks in advance!

 

Also, how can I keep the buttons showing, I do not want the hide option.

I did look at this, but with the data.zip file from keeper, I do not see that line, as he put in a custom compass (which rocks!!)

O.K., but you should easily be able to add this function to Keeper's compass as well. Looking at his modified compass, this should be pretty easy. Just replace his code with the following:

;compass 

That may be overkill (you might only have to add the alternative commands to the first sprite), but it shouldn't hurt anything to do it to all 3 and better safe than sorry, I guess.

EDITED TO REVISE CODE TO CODE THAT JNEILON HAS CONFIRMED WORKS WITH LINEAR COMPASS.

I tried Keeper's latest file and its great. However a few features do not work. Cancel route and mute do not work.

I am missing anything?

You have to have the parking brake up to have these buttons work, or have the parking break wire grounded

I have been working on modifying keeper's data.zip to my liking. What do you guys think? I've restored most of the fonts and sizes so the menus are not affected and polished most of the background images.

 

I am am almost done with the road sign "look". Does anyone know where the bmp is for the lane assist arrows? I'm talking about the ones that pop up on a highway that show you what lane to be in on a multi lane highway.

Has anyone been having any touchscreen button response issues since making these changes?

My touchscreen will not work until I hit the map key. (almost like it resets the touchscreen) I have to do this whenever I want to change anything via the touchscreen.........

900BT, only other mod is the software bypass.

I didnt notice that but i did notice my MSN tends to not work after i make changes in testmode. I have to press the reset button upon rebooting after making changes.

Tried that, everything seems to be a little quicker, the button response issue is still occurring though. It's getting pretty annoying, no one else is having this problem?

My girlfriend actually has the same problem with her D series......

Yesterday I implemented Keeper's zip file and everything I have tried seems to be working fine. But, I have a question about that little picture of a mountain at the top of the screen. Next to it is "1.1". I have no idea what that is, and the 1.1 never changes. Or was this on there before and I never noticed it?

I tried searching for that but don't see it anywhere. Thanks.

As Maverickster discovered, if you change the setting for this text to gps.elevation it will display in feet (and change more often)...

No that is the contents of the Data Zip. Dont unzip it. I think someone said Safari automatically unzips downloaded files, use Firefox to download it. Then replace the data zip in MY FLASH DISK/APL2/iGO with the one you downloaded. But make sure you back up the whole MY FLASH DISK before you make any changes in case you need to put it back.

You can set Safari to not unzip files upon download.

When ever i try to download kevin's 11-20 it just contains an "audio file"

Please look at the pic I need to know the coordinates or lines of code for the "stop" and the "mute" icon from this picture. The data file that Lava had up is no longer up. I have keepers file which is great, but the stop/mute are blocked by the ipod cover art.

Any luck with this?

Ok I have keepers latest mod installed ( excellent ). I was able to move the stop navigation button next to the compass so iPod album art doesn't cover it up. I do not have an arrow with in 3d, also the fonts are smaller in the menus. How can I fix these two concerns?

I am not sure what fonts you guys are talking about, could you explain it a little more.

I did replace the fonts in the iGo folder so you might what to play with those to see if it makes a difference.

There talking about the font size when u bring up POI details or Traffic info details, etc. When the information comes up the font size is very small. Where would we find that in the igo folder?

all the text in in the GPS itself (streets and stuff). Also the text on the menu screens. Where in the igo file are they located?
