Now its my turn to ask. I need to find the VSS and reverse wire for a 2004 Honda Odyssey with the factory radio (no nav or RES).
Its funny, but nobody seems to be asking for the parking brake wire

Speed Sense gray/black wiper motor or PCM
Notes: The PCM (Powertrain Control Module) is on the passenger side firewall. The VSS wire is in the plug closest to the fender, pin 13.

The dimer wire needs a home too.
Get a canbus interface. That'll give you everything you need at the radio. Save you from having to run wire all over the truck. If you're dead set on not using one of those, search the info has been posted.
I used the metra xsvi-6502 and it had no provision for the vss or reverse or dimmer. I searched and I cant find any info on the 06 cummins auto tranny. Could you provide a link.
For a mercury cougar 99-02 it is already behind the stock radio... it is in a wiring harness of its own consisting of the VSS wire and a black ground... i just slid the pioneer wire into the female end... worked great!

yeah thats what i thought, i checked a few but they didn't know to much, called tech support from pioneer and they said i need a can bus interface to read the grey black behind the radio for vss, and called eclipse later on n they said its a white black in driver kick n wiremagic said the same, so im just going to try all those n hopefully that works.. will let everyone here know just in case they have a ls to work on
