Succesfull and even simpeler then i thought.

 

step 1: download download shortfusescript.zip and  2017 update file

step 2: unpack shortfusescript on a fat32 SD card

step 3 Run script on F930BT ( just place SD card and touch a key when asked.

Step 4: unpack 2017 update on at least 4GB sd card.

step 5: place sdcard in F930BT and restart 

step 6: choose update procedure yes. When asked use PASSWORDPASSWORD as password.

enjoy... for this F930BT type no other steps are needed. ( probably because its the original for this type and several others)

Edited CARDINFO.CIF in Godzilla 2017 update file

OE9R75LQ2MJ2X72EUR

and replace with

X07EURX27EURX30EUR

Then used ShortFuseScript from RonS and flollowed the steps

Hi Guys glad everyone is having fun with the files just a re minder of password for people you must include the parenthesis -  Password is 'Dracarys'  exactly as shown

Did it today on my F940BT.

Worked like a charm.

No errors; in 20 minutes complete up to date.

These steps for F930BT were exactly the same as I used to update my F30BT.

I want to add that the NAG screen is disabled as well

I press a lot of times "tray again" than comes " Update in progress" but nothing happens...

I change the SD, cardinfo, format the SD...

Now i have no idea more.

Since you give little detail of what you did and it is hard to make sense of your description,  I'll guess that you are getting a message saying something about incorrect SD. I've never seen that message so I don't know exactly the words used.

I recommend unzipping the map update from godzillz again. Be sure to enter the zip password 'Dracarys' including the single quote characters. If you do not enter the password correctly,  some of the files will not unzip and the installation will fail.

ik wil mijn F920BT updaten met 2017 update maar het lukkt mij niet

 

 

ShortFuseScript gedaan en ging prima 

 

dan sd kaart format. en de update en cardinfo.cif erop gezet

 

sd weer in de HU maar geen update niks hij start gewoon weer op

We don't seem to be able to communicate. Maybe someone can help who speaks your language. 

If the 2015 worked for your F20, then copy that CardInfo.CIF file to the 2017 SD and put it into your F20.

Should be just 2 directories (FIRMWARE, UPDATE) and CardInfo.CIF (the correct one for your model).

You didn't follow the directions. I don't know how it could be simpler. What password did you use to extract the ZIP files?
