  1. Actually, I just checked metra and scosche and neither one show an adaptor for your car. That doesn't mean it doesn't need one, but without plugging the AVIC into a known working antenna it's just a guess.
  2. Sounds like the typical powered antenna that isn't being powered problem. Some antennas receive power (or ground) from the factory radio and without it (via the correct adapter) you will get poor reception.

  5. Yeah, the updates are usually about 6 months behind.
  6. Too bad I couldn't make it this year, would have liked to check out the NAVTEQ maps. Rumor is the POI search has been fixed as well.
  7. 3D Calibration has nothing to do with the 3D Map View. You need to switch the map mode from 2D to 3D.
  8. Yeah... you guys are totally right. It was late and I wasn't thinking straight. It's not often that I make a total fool out of myself. haha
  9. Wow, I've never seen that on a Z130 before. Either you have some new software version or that's a mod.
  10. Uhhh, what? There is no day/night icon. The AVIC goes into night mode automatically when the headlights are turned on (when 12v is provided to the illumination wire).
  11. Connect your illumination wire so the AVIC knows when your headlights are on.
  12. You can't display your speed on the screen with the Z series.
  13. Yeah, It's a glitch on Pioneer's end, mine did the same thing before the logo update.

  15. Mine does the same grey box thing, but only if the unit starts up on XM.
  16. The RCA harness is for additional/aftermarket speakers/subs/amps.
  17. Yes, you need the RCA harness that plugs into the white connection.
  18. Just updated the site!

  19. Testing the cables and power would be the first step.

  23. NO Region free DVD capability MAYBE GPS Maps (for australia) YES Bluetooth connectivity YES (USB) Inbuilt HDD or USB function to expand YES Touchscreen YES (Bluetooth) Android phone connectivity Limited Change backgrounds, customise etc... No Wifi No Internet browsing etc. Also, you can't install another "operating system", however members have installed third party GPS apps.
  24. Yeah, the installer is either lazy or stupid. It needs an illumination wire to switch to/from day/night mode.
