try putting a wire around the ground of the rca and ground it, also run the wires outside of the carand see if it still happens. if you have a small tv hook up the backup cam directly to the tv. try wrapping the signal wires in foil and split loom it.

type of car and harness used would be helpful, but if i had to guess you have the antenna turn on and the amp turn on need to be switched

you most certainly need the swi-can and the can bus harness for the car. you can get by without the can harness if you dont care about illumination or dimming the unit at night and want to run an accessory wire to switched power.

all those products work fine my shop uses metra and ai and pac. pac swi-ps for sw controls, gmos04, gm06, gmk422. you can use another pacswips if you have rear controls.

wow, winshield wipers thats a first you should smack them with 2 grand lol thats what the guy did at best buy before he came to my shop. the illumination is easy just meter a +12v wire at the headlight switch if you cant find one behind the radio. the vss wire and illumination wire are usually in the harness behind the radio in newer fords. sorry i dont have the wire colors i cant access directechs from home anymore, however they are in there and the vss isn't going through the winshield wipers i promise you. also, try doing a level 1 reset by pushing the reset button on front to recalibra

try touching the illum wire to +12v with the car and unit on and see if it switches if not, you may have a bad unit if it does you prob used the wrong wire

what brand interface you got?

boyo is suspect to noise getting in the line. wrap a wire around the ground shield of the rca's and ground it to see if that helps with the lines

american international: vwk1017, eu06 metra xsvi9003. sw controls are easy but you only get the left side controls. you can program the right controls but they operate that computer too. you may have to reprogram the harness as well. hook the harness up and disconnect the battery for 15 mins and that should help make the acc off the xsvi9003 work properly

reprogram the gmos interface by having the car on for 3 mins off for 3 mins, disconnect the battery for 15 mins and then hook the battery back up and turn on. this process fixed the acc acting up on the volks metra harness maybe it will help you

error 12 is dirty disc error 23 is content not supported sounds like your d2 is goin bad

get a viper 5900 with a 211v gps add on its sick! you can call and lock unlock remote start and whatever else u make ur alarm do for 100$ a yr

let me rephrase that take the rr&rl output from the radio not the bose amp and put them into the high level input to the amp. whats happening is the signal from the bose amp is too strong for the sony XPLOD

get rid of the bose amp. you have a 2 ohm signal going to 4 ohm speakers which means they are getting double the power and distorting at half the volume

cool and just so you know set the potentiometer with the can interface exactly where it goes i had trouble with a toyota one shifting sound when moving it today.
