ok but can you tether the touch to a windows based phone?

can you tether an ipod touch with another device such as an HTC Imagio and use that phone's data plan to use Pandora?? I have a windows phone, and cannot get an iphone.. but, when i get this head unit.. im gonna want to use Pandora.... also, isnt this unit based on a windows os? i know u can do MSN direct.. and im wondering why no Zune interface for a windows based head unit.. questions questions...

i had the windows closed. the mic and BT module are both brand new.. but i guess a mic could be bad.. ill recheck tonight.

Ive searched, but havent found a clue, or solution.. I have a samsung saga from verizon.. i had to use jetware to connect it to the D3. when someone calls me, or i call them, they complain of static, or the sound breaking up.. anyone else see this, or have pointers for me? thanks!

Good write up.. I was able to do most of these steps on my WM 6.1 Samsung Saga, I was able to connect using JetWare, but then i had to go into a contact, and just choose to SEND.. the recipient was the bluetooth Pioneer module. I did a select all, and did NOT send as vCard.. just SEND CONTACT.. only thing i cant get working is using the ringtones of the phone to come thru on the AVIC. also one call into the AVIC answered on the phone, not the avic.

ok my next question is WHERE do i tap in for the constant 12v and get ground? 2003 silverado SS

when hooking my D3 up to the bluetooth adapter and the xm reciever.. does the blue tooth have to go before, or after the xm unit?

i have one of these units i got off the bay myself i have a 2003 silverado SS, however, i dont have a power cable. does this unit get power from the IPBus cable? if not, does anyone know where u can buy the 3 pin pioneer power cable??

i did search, but didnt find an answer to this. Can i hook up a USB drive, flash drive via usb , or the Zune via USB to a D3?

i am running my D3 bypassed and with a burned copy of the 2008 Navidisc. the unit will reboot , reboot ,reboot (not always 3 times) and then sometimes say DVD drive is having problems. If i remove the Navidisc, it APPEARS ok.. when its not acting up navigation works fine with that DVD Ive also noticed that from time to time i hear a slight clip in the audio that im listening to. thoughts?

if teleatlas is the ones who make the maps.. why cant one make their own custom map disk?
