is there a # that the speed pulse should reach or it stay the same at no matter what speed?

thanks miss fit well the speed pulse does go up when i step on the gas. does the back up wire have to be connected?

yes it is in the same menu as the v ajust , it says screen off.

use nero to copy it on dvd-r dL or dvd+r dL it worked for me

what is the vss and how can i tell if its hooked up or not

I have a 2004 yukon and i had the illumination wire from the d-3 hooked into the auto head light control and it works with my auto head lights perfectly, the d-3 dims when my head light come on at night and the map goes into the night mode ( easy on the eyes)

You know sorry azz cc in woldorf maryland told me that the illumination would not work with my auto head lights in my 2004 yukon, so i took it to this small audio shop and they hooked it up the way wanted it to work, now when it gets dark my head lights come on and also the screen dims down to a nice easy on the eyes level and also the map tunrs into the night mode all by its self.

ALSO CHECK THE INSTALATION ANGLE SETUP

YO RAMMEN GO INTO THE SOUND FIELD OPTIONS AND MAKE SURE ITS SET TO NORMAL , NOT LIVING ROOM, SOUND STAGE , ECT. THAT SHOULD TAKE CARE OF THE VOLUME PROBLEM BETWEEN UR FRONT AND REAR SPEAKERS. IT WORKED FOR ME

I WAS HAVING WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A PROBLEM WITH MY BACK SPEAKERS, THE SOUND SEAMED REALLY LOW COMPARED WITH THE FRONT SPEAKERS SO I WENT INTO THE SOUND FIELD OPTIONS AND CHANGED IT FROM SOUND STUDIO TO NORMAL AND NOW MY REAR AND FRONT SPEAKERS ARE THE SAME VOLUME.

OK GREAT BUT WOULD THIS WORK WITH THE D-3?
