    Not sure how you check the current version, I'd imagine you can find out in the settings menu. I installed the US firmware by mistake and was getting a funny message about the parking brake, I immediately installed the correct firmware and all was back to normal.

    Usually you don't have to do that on the European model, Mine is just grounded and I've never gotten any warnings. Did you update the firmware by any chance?

    I'd imagine you've grounded the reverse(rear) camera switch rather than the handbrake(parking brake) switch. Or the reverse/rear camera wire(White/Violet) is rounding from the cage or elsewhere

    Yea app radio live is nice, I wish there was a way to add unsupported apps though, two of the main apps I use are Spotify and DS Audio(synology), so I'll be sticking on ios6 for a while I reckon

    Well app radio live finally hit the Irish/UK app stores, it looks pretty impressive if only it supported Spotify and/or DS Audio(synology)

    If you are jailbroken you can use activator so set phone to unlock when docked

    Does this only happen when you open app mode? Does the app radio try to launch the app radio app on your phone? If you uninstall the app radio app from your phone or close it down/does the radio mirror your phones screen without touch control? in settings is iphone selected for connection/input method?

    This is all very exciting, cant wait for it to hit the app store over here(Ireland), maybe I can finally jump to ios7. Its a pity they don't have spotify though

    That looks pretty cool, not available in Irish app store yet Can it support any other apps like spotify? I assume it only works with ios7?

    I assume you are on older compatible ios? you need to uninstall the one from the app store, install app sync for 6.x and then just drag it into itunes or email it to yourself and open with ifile or similar from the phone itself

    If you buy a phone with a broken screen make sure its on ios6 for starters as extensions only works with this, most screens still function when they are cracked/broken. so you should be able to jailbreak, install appradio/etc. once bluetooth is turned on and phone is plugged into radio you shouldn't really need to touch the phone. The only flaw in your plan is that unless you are going to divert your main phone to this phone whenever you get into your car, you're not gonna be able to use the handsfree from your main phone.

    I tried to do the same, bought a htc one m8 and lasted about 24hours before I sold it, everything about it bugged the shit out of me, especially the sheer size of it, back on my trusty iPhone5 io6

    With a new Jailbreak looking likely I wonder will the code for Carplay in iOS7.1 help in anyway?

    To add to the previous comment, AppRadio Extensions is still working with iOS6 but the latest version of appradio in the app store has introduced some bugs, when you close an app the screen go's black until you close and reopen appradio on the iPhone. The attached IPA is the most compatible version with extensions.

    its a version down from the latest app radio in the app store, the latest build in the app store doesnt work correctly with appradio on ios6

    Not sure about the AR3 but the AR2 cant stream via bluetooth.

    @tom Looking at that screen grab it appears the person in AT&T just doesn't understand what the app radio is doing, they don't seem to understand that the screen on your iPhone is just being mirrored, no data is involved.

    Good stuff Mike and is there any fix for those of us on ios6 who updated to the latest AppRadio app from the app store and now get black screen on exit of apps?

    Thats good, I didn't think it was dead, this is a free application written in mikes free time and I think people have to be patient.
