MKV is the format known to extract Blu rays. Which a uncompressed format. It gives you the best quality from sound and video. now a days everthing online is a rip of a bluray. There are people like me that will convert to a mp4 file. It will compress the size but not hinder the quality of the movie.

yes I am using MKV files. I added a few of them to the SD CARD to see if it would work and it did. I have both MKV and MP4 since itunes preffer MP4 format for apple TV.

Should play fine. My only concern was when I brought the radio. That I would have to convert all these files I have. But I don't. Plays mkv files well

Nope there 1080p files. I'm assuming the unit is reducing it to play 480x420. But it looks beautiful. I didn't convert anything. I just drag and dropped.

Yea. Unit doesn't come with film protector. Just the foam sleeve with foam corners.

I doubt it. Article says NEX models. I dont see what the deal is if I can play music via USB now and have full control. If Pioneer would learn something from ARUnchain and App Radio Extension would be nice. Give a all the features we want. And this is the case with all companies. They sell you something knowing that new features will be on the next product. SCAM i tell you SCAM....(Pulls hair out of head) lol

Yea I don't think you can bypass that screen. Even in the vehicle factory nav I had to always agree before using.

Yea. There's 3. And 1 is used via aux port using the 3.5mm RCA jack

Ive been using my Apple Lightning cable. Seems to work fine. Full control of the ipod music.

Seems like their version of app radio. I'm pretty sure not all apps will show up on screen.

Are you using an Original Apple lighting cable?? If not youll get the mutlitple disconnecting. try to plug it in without the PAC USB. See what you get

Go to av source and select REAR. In this menu you will see MIRROR, SD CARD, DISC, AV, AUX.

Also sd card can be used for rear. Also.

As for the mirror. I too get the blue screen. It's more for rear>DVD
