  1. A simple search would answer a lot of these same questions. I've found a good amount of info on questions I had searching.
  2. I use it from the phone dialer menu. I just press the small icon on the bottom left that looks like it's for voice command and it should fire up siri. Use it as you normally would.
  3. I'm pretty sure a lot of the issues you are having would be the same on pretty much all the other NEX models except the screen quality on the 8000.
  4. Thanks for the help Dre. Unfortunately I'm using an iPod classic which doesn't have that option. Still trying to play around with itunes to figure this out.
  5. So I've been trying to organized my ipod through itunes for many hours now trying to get the NEX unit to read it the way I want to. I finally got around to having artist show correctly by having to go through each one and adjust the "sort info" on each song. Now when I choose to look through as songs, it doesn't have it alphabeticalized but I can tell it's still alphabeticalized by artist even through looking at songs. Anyone else having issues trying to get this library to read properly? What am I doing wrong
  6. So I'm just wondering what method everyone is using for playing any sort of videos from USB flashdrive or SD card. So far what I've found on the internet is using DivX converter and I use Clipconverter to grab some videos off Youtube. When I download from Clipconverter, I'm downloading them in 480p. Does that even matter? What other methods is anyone using and possibly getting better quality, using a different program, and what files are you converting them too etc.
  7. Monoprice cables any good? I know they are all suppose to do the same thing but I don't wanna buy it if it'll go out and break. The hassle of just changing it out.
  8. I was just wondering how long the USB cable that is provided with the NEX units? Are they more than long enough to reach the glove or center arm rest of most cars? Also thinking about grabbing a 2nd USB extension cable from monoprice. USB 2.0 the one I should go with? Thanks
  9. Anyone think that we will get screwed over by Pioneer when iOS8 rolls out? Those with an iPhone at least? I recently purchased all my accessories for my 4000NEX and was set to buy one this weekend, but also was going to upgrade to a new iphone this fall. Kinda worried about how it will integrate and work with the NEX lineup. Thoughts?
  10. Thanks for the help guys! Clears up a lot of things
  11. I was just trying to get a little more clarity on how to setup my 4000NEX before I purchase everything. From what I understand USB1 is for iPhone and USB2 is for android. What else can USB2 be used for? I was probably going to have a 32sd card for slot and trying to figure out if I wanted to use USB2 for a HD or my old 80gb iPod. Will my iPod even work on usb2? Basically what I'm wondering what each USB1 and USB2 will support? Are they interchangeable with peripherals and vice versa? Thanks
  12. Thanks again for the input everyone. Going to pick up the 4000 some time in the next week!
