  1. If you have the wrong firmware it won't update. The updater will give you a nag message saying the software is incorrect. All the folders say 5100Nex, but they aren't swappable
  2. Try switching the USB port that you're using. Only one of the usb ports can be used for updating. There is also another spot that can only be updated with the micro sd slot.
  3. I dont think I've ever had more regret in a purchase than in buying this head unit.
  4. I have the older 6000 model but they arent much different from the new ones. The reverse camera seems to work independant of the software. The camera comes up near instantly and will also come up before the system has time to boot.
  5. I have a 6000nex and my GPS works perfectly, but I can't figure out how to access android auto.
  6. Just want to clarify something. Older Motorola phones support MHL, however they dropped out of the alliance so whenever they updated those phones (if they received an update) one of the things that they disabled was mhl support. This is why some older Motorola phones works on the Ice Cream Sandwhich version, but don't work when upgraded to Jelly Bean/Kit Kat.
  7. This might pique your interest.
  8. My purchase of a Pioneer product was a complete waste of money. I bought a 7000 last year and it's Android support is abysmal. I'm going to try to sell my HU on Ebay and change to someone who isn't terrible.
  9. I glad everyone got their Carplay update. I really am, but has anyone heard anything about the Android auto update?
