  11. I have a G1 and BT works fine, it's doesn't transfer contacts but I can make calls and recieve them just fine. you have to first turn on the D3 and put it on BT mode/screen then turn on BT on the G1 it will scan for BT units and find the pioneer BT unit then just select it on the phone and it will ask you for the BT password wich on mine was 0000 (don't know if it's the same for all D3's BT units)

  13. I have read here all the ways that you can do to play vids from a ipod to the D3, from buying a old 5 gen ipod video or downgrading the filmware on the ipod, I did not want to do that since I just got brand new ipod touch a few weeks before I got the D3, I got the ipod composite AV cable and the pioneer CD-RM10 mini-jack AV cable, I know that I could just got the ipod composite AV cable and connect it to one of the AV inputs on the back of the D3 but I didn't want to take off the D3 from my truck. here is a small vid

  19. hey guys I am newbie here but this forum already help me out much more that I would ever hope for. I already had a AVIC-N2 on my truck but I always liked the DD look better so I bought a D3, I went to the install shop to see how much would they charge me to pull out the N2 and put in the D3 they cuoted me $250 then I asked about the bypass and they told me $100 more to by pass it, as soon as I heard that I walk out of there. so I started reading here and decided to do it myself and I did, I installed the D3, the bluetooth adapter and the ipod cable and everything works great, thanks to
  20. Hello guys, I am new here and I have a question, I search but could not find what I am looking for. I already have a AVIC-N2 on my Lightning and just purchased a AVIC-D3 on crutchfield, my question is if it's doable to just pull out the N2 head unit and use the same connections/wires, that are already installed on the truck and just conect them to the D3 head unit, I guess what I am asking is if the wires on both units are the same.? thanks for the help.
