i sent mine in for flex cable, they didn't even see i mod'd the box for n3 and upgraded to 60m software. I got it back in one week, free cable replacement.. phew

I had same issue, get verbatim disk use imgburn googlesearch it burns for free!!

there's a camera for the avic-1 I have it was about 150. Yes you have to run positive, I Just grounded wire at rear frame. Then you have t orun video cable

i figured it out, it was the wrong version disc. There's a difference between the mv and mp... The avic needs the MP the east coast torrent has read protected files, I can't figure out how to fix it so I can burn it. I can't even open the instructions... the west coast pressed fine... anyone??

im having problems too burning east coast, says access denied. I don't have a security tab on my file properties in windows xp I went in dos and didn't see anything there either

also where is your antenna? If it's inside your car, it'll take longer than outside and on top of your car. Also are you in a city with tall buildings/tall trees... there's a lot of variables that will make your gps acquire longer. Mine takes as long as the intro screen where you have to hit ok, and I have a signal. My gps antenna is on roof of truck, clear view of sky. Hope that helps

I'm at 90% for east coast, but got west coast... anyone, please. I live on east coast!! Thanx. It sucked going to Houston w/out nav. First time in Houston. What sucked more, is that my 60MV(wrong discs for avic-n1) would let me use my address book, and drove me home. I like the 60 series map info. It shows how many lanes are on your turn, etc.. Anywho.. please someone help seed the east coast!!! using the link above

These are two discs for avic n1-n2 etc this was found by concept. Help me get this too (est 33 days right now) as only two seeders.. No matter what I start this N1 with, brake on/off or toggle on/off the only three buttons that work in destination is return home, go to anatomies, and address book. Vicinity search, address search, telephone search, and the two other selections do not work with my 60m disc. can SOMEONE PLEASE VERIFY that I can use these 60 discs(above post) with the AVIC-N1. I have to take a trip to Texas, and I do not have my 40 series west coast disc, unless someone lets me ftp in to them. I have to goto Texas tomorrow night. Again, here's my problem 1. If I use 40M software, w/brake grounded

*Sarcasm* Yeah, the avic won't tell me there's a cop around the corner, and let off my cruise control... I use my N-1 for years, and still like it. Sometimes it doesn't know a new road, but that will soon change when I figure out my issue other thread... so I can use 60 software. Can someone post what the full model of the 60 series disc is, so I can make sure I have the right one? (sorry to hijack thread)

did you check your antenna cable for kinks/knicks and of course, is it reattached? also on settings/hardware settings, you can see if your gps is receiving a signal

I'll go to circuit city again, and try the originals, but I do remember even the display model avic did the same thing on display in the store. I did make new discs, haven't tried yet. Will post more. Can you post your whole cndv 60 disc, or is it the same as I previously posted? I just want to make sure it's the right disc

I did try disconnecting ground, and in settings/hardware, I saw the brake go high, and low. I reconnected ground while radio was on, and same thing. I had the brake hardwired to ground forever with the 40mt software. 1. Are you saying that I need to make a toggle switch for the 60m software? 2. the software I'm trying to use is cndv-60mv1060m, is this correct for the AVIC-N1

Thanx, and re-iterate, lift up that first clip(yes I broke/superglued back that first ribbon, thinking the connector slid out) those will find the guide, read the text before looking at all those pictures... Problem. I have an N-1 that had only the brake bypass, and I was running 40mt software. Worked great. Wanted 60m map. I did the wire solder, worked great, took me about an hour. Upgraded avic-n1, left all wires hooked up (I don't/never had speed sense hooked up(got lazy)) After software upgrade, I can play video on 60M software, I do get both nags, b
