  1. move the ipbus cable from the port it's in in the cd-ub100 to the other port.
  2. Red/black at a 13pin plug under the driver's seat.
  3. Nope. Repairing it isnot possiblr either, must be replaced.
  4. Hook it up to the ground wire and change the polarity setting of the avic.
  5. Pretty much. The parking brake wire has one tap on it already. The mute wire has a terminal on it that can be cut off.
  6. green/orange at the ecm behind the glovebox. Odds are they didn't look it's pretty easy to find and access. It's in the second plug down from the top. Oh and the mic is still useful for voice activated nav. So take it back and tell them to put the mic in. You paid to have it installed right and no mic means it ain't done right.
  7. http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php? ... highlight= Look at the picture. See how the 2 wires are connected to the black wire. You do that. And what color is on top and bottom on the wire doesn't mean anything. The wire is still yellow/black.

    D2 doesn't play dvds.
  9. Not meant to be hasty, just trying to get rid of the "how do I bypass my d3" posts that seem to keep popping up. Genuine issues, I've left alone.
  10. Reread the first post. Thats EXACTLY what is required for the bypass no more no less.
  11. Bored at work today. Did a keyless in an 06 altima, and an r/s in an 08 accord. So from 10am to 5pm my boss and I were talking about the ultimate gps. Then we realized no matter how smart the nav system is, it still can't fix the problem between the seat and the steering wheel....
  12. [ It would help if you type after quoting the text, kinda hard to read what you were responding. AC means a meter would read AC voltage on that wire. The cluster is that thing you look at to see how fast your going and how much gas you have left in the gas tank. If the Antenna plug looks like a sat antenna end, then you'l need a 40-eu55.And yes you will need that in order to get am/fm radio stations.
  13. THere is already a thread that talks about the cheapest place to get a d3 please post there.
  14. A search will answer your questions.
  15. Ok here it is, the AVIC-900000. Since so many people out there in avic land are whining about why their avic can't do this or that. Why it doesn't come with this or that. Here you go. 17. My sig says it all, and you don't need 3 different posts asking the exact same question.
  18. No a d3 will not kill a battery in 4 days. You have an issue somewhere in the vehicle it may or may not have anything to do with the avic. You don't happen to have an aftermarket overhead installed in the vehicle do you? Just as an fyi most dealer mechanics I've dealt with don't know the right way to do a current draw check. Might want to consider talking to someone at an audio shop about having one done.
