1. 70-5520av should be what you need to get the overhead working again. Can't say 100% though since I've not dealt with an aviator/exploder that old recently.
2. sounds like an accident I heard about either last year or perhaps the year before in Alaska, the driver crossed the median and hit a car with I believe two people and they were killed. That's the most "famous" one. Though the ruling wound up getting over turned a few months later.
3. IF it says check anttenna then it's 1 of 2 things. 1. Antenna came unplugged (doubtful since it locks in place) 2. The wire inside the antenna cable is broken, and the antenna must be replaced (more likely).
4. There's a new piece from pac C2R-FRD1 allows retaining of the stock dvd player. Even works in vehicles that used to require relocating the stock deck.
5. That's only half what you need. You'll also neeed the pioneer adaptor for it, and it's doubtful that the interface will be any different than the pnr2
6.
Looking for VSS, speed sense, reverse wire and display dimming (night mode) wire on '08 Corvette Z06 with Bose/Nav. Thanks.
Going to need an interface anyway for the blose system. Might as well get one since it'll also give you all the extra crap.
7. Your guess is wrong. It has happened.
8. turn the high pass filter on. That'll remove the bass from the door speakers.
9. flip switch, connect parking brake wire to black ground wire in avic's harness.
10. Where's the power for the camera connected?
11. DUcati or Jason want to do something about this one?
12. Do you have power on that wire? if not, then there's a fuse blown somewhere. Also make sure you have ground too. No other way to hook the stuff up. Tie constant to constant, ground to ground. And plug the ipbus cable in. Not much to it.
13. answered several times at that. locked.
14. probably blew the fuse on the constant wire of the xm tuner. And it is normal for there to be no switched line in the btb200's power harness.
15. The factory sirius tuner is I beleive on the rear wall of the cab on the passenger side. That's why there's no second antenna behind the radio. You'd have to mount the poineer sirius tuner where the factory tuner was. Then get a long ipbus cable since the one that comes with the pioneer tuner isn't long enough to go from the back of the truck to the radio location. FYI you may have to remove the plastic part of the connector of the factory antenna to get it to plug into the pioneer tuner.
16.
The serial# is the locator to the GPS! Once you register the unit with pioneer they have that serial# to track it! Dont set your unit up with a password cause then a crook can not master reset the unit an NO I say again NO finding it genius! 8)
Uh yeah can someone translate this into english?
17. In the menu that allows you to select different gauges to display, there's a button that says modify look or something like that. That's where you can change the gauge overlays.
18. it's the thing that you step on to engage the parking brake. You might be better off taking it to a shop and explaining the situation.
19. Please try to read the topics before you post in them. Yeah that'lll happen. By the way there's actuall 5 different gauge overlays. If you look at the file names the ones that end in 'N' are night time versions.
20. Look at the parking brake assembly. Towards the top of it, theres a plug with a single wire in it. Follow that wire and see if theres a light green wire spliced into it. There isn't or if that light green wire is broken, then that's your problem.
