  1. D3 no for the millionth time. Euro version yes. Kenwood navi does rds.
  2. was it bypassed or hooked up right? If it was hooked up right, then odds are the parking brake wire from the d1 has been disconnected from the parking brake wire in the vehicle.

  4. year make model of the vehicle would be helpful
  5. That's because a spammer decided to resurrect this thread along with about 2 dozen others. Just so he could get his post in the forsale forum locked
  6. The wire you're referring to is the actual antenna wire. The wire that hifisi is talking about is the blue wire in the wire harness you bought for your car. If it's connected to the blue wire of the avic, try hooking it up to the red wire. It's been my experience that some aftermarket radio's power antenna lead doesn't provide enough current to turn on the antenna amplifier in subarus.
  7. Sounds like shuffle is turned on, either on the ipod or on the d3.
  8. Read only note # 1 in the below chart. If it is blank then skip to next step. The other notes in the chart do not apply to your vehicle. Connect the INTERFACE's Green wire to Tap into Pin B31 (Lt. Green) of the above connector This plug is at the steering wheel column. The plug at radio cannot be interfaced. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's exactly where it is....
  9. oh yeah 7 or 8 sats for me. GPS ant is in the 3rd brake light in the back of the batmobile.
  10. 1. Weird, maybe the volume dial on the gmos-01 is all the way down? Or it could be bad. THat would be a first for me though. 2. If it's hooked up and not fully programmed, then that could very well be the problem. Your ipod volume question sounds like normal operation. The volume number is at 1 then you turn it down and no sound right? If so then yes that's normal.
  11. in that case do it your self theres plenty here that can help you with it. Plus it's a nice easy truck to do. The install price though is about right for what they charge. $120 - Scosche Interface harness $21 - AI Dash kit $15 - Antenna Adapter $150 - Navi install ~$30 - BT install Those are based on when I worked there 2 years ago. IF you want to do it yourself here's what you want GMOS-01 - Harness for Non-Blose radio GMOS-04 - Harness for the Blose radio The nice part about those 2 pieces is that they give you vss, reverse, and parking brake at the radio harness. 40-GM
  12. Well damn it i'm in a rush! Do it NOW
  13. it's not navi though. It's nav ready.
  14. no there not, didn't think about that. Damn off to hunt again.
  15. If you really want to get technical that's not a dash kit. That's a new bezel. But it's all semantics . At anyrate, at least the jdm dash will make the install a fair bit easier for you then. Could always try hitting a toyota dealer. See if they can or will help you out. I've gotten a few jdm parts for my car through the mitsu dealer.
  16. How about this? DEI 103t then hook it into an esp enabled alarm. Viola keypad allows arm/disarm of alarm. http://www.drdetailshop.com/103T.htm
  17. From what I've been reading that does seem to be the case. Haven't delved into the manuals yet though.
  18. Are these vehicle specific or universal? Any specifics on what to get? SWI-PS Some vehicles (ie canbus equipped) will also require a swi-can. Aside from that the adapters are universal.
  19. No, what's it supposed to look similar to
