  1. Ebay, Crutchfield, Local Venders anywhere you please. Installation is about as easy as it can be. Two wires, black (ground) and a yellow (12v constant) which can be tapped into your D3 harness if mounted near, the ip-bus cable, and a microphone. Easy as pie.
  2. Do you have the BTB200 Bluetooth module installed, you need that for the bluetooth wireless to work. Its this... http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... /CD-BTB200
  3. Sorry, When you have it in the BT Tel mode go to Function, Phone Connect, and then touch Search and the D3 should begin searching for your telephone. Once it finds the phone, on the main screen with the six empty "slots" touch and hold number one to register your phone in that slot.
  4. This should cover the phone paring procedure... Pairing Instructions: To turn Bluetooth ON, Click Menu-> Settings and Tools ->3. Bluetooth Menu -> Turn On 1. Click Menu -> Settings & Tools -> ->3. Bluetooth Menu -> Add New Device. Your phone will display a list of any Bluetooth devices that it discovers in range and available to be paired. 2. Select the name of the Bluetooth enabled device with which you are pairing then press OK to connect the device. 3. Select YES if the device requests permission to bond with the phone, then enter passkey. Sometimes Blue
  5. Bluetooth is a wireless data transmission system that allows your phone to communicate wirelessly with your radio and other bluetooth devices. Im not familiar with the paring process with you phone but it should be outlined in your manual. I think there may also be issues with Verizon disabling bluetooth on there phones. Ill have to do some digging around here to find out. Also try the search function on this site, it works pretty well.
  6. It should work, When I had my AT&T Tilt, basically same phone, I could stream bluetooth audio, never tried video though.
  7. I aggree, I think the Number 1 Single handed most undinyable problem with 99.9 % of people today is that they have lost all concept of common sense. (Sorry If I offend someone but to hell with it im tired of being politically correct) I love car stereo, have always loved car stereo, although lately my systems have gotten milder. I have two JL 10's and a JL 250/1 in my truck and yes I love to flex it out a little bit... when I am not bothering anyone. I try to be as considerate of others as possible when playing my music, or when I have certain passengers around. (Its not to healthy for my two
  8. If I remember right I got an email Immediately afterwards with the information. You may want to send them an email.
  9. Im sure that he is refering to the soft keys on the touch display itself.
  10. Ok, just got a new Crutchfield in the mail and they are already showing the F-900BT available for 1099.99. Thought they werent gonna be released until June. Checked the website, nothing on there, what gives?
  11. No the full version and trial version work exactly the same. The only difference is the trial version is only a 30 day trial.
  12. If the phone number was trasfered over to the btb phonebook then it should show up. I dont think that there is any issue with the dash in the number but on occasion I have been known to be absolutly wrong. I would change a couple of the number to without the dash or any other figures and see if it makes a difference.
  13. The phone software itself doesent add the contacts. You must do the following steps to transfer the entire phone book at one time.... On the Tilt I went to program files then to the bluetooth options folder. thats were the Jetware program is (on mine its labled hands free config). Go to menu and then phonebook options. In the phonebook options go to menu again and there is a send contacts item. Make sure your d3 is ready to transfer phonebook then click done on the phone and it should send everything over. Should be exactly the same for the 8125... Ive had both phones so im pret
  14. Actually, unless your crazy enough to play a DVD while driving in front of a law enforcement officer, there is pretty much nothing that can happen. If you turn the unit off before than can see it playing, they would have to have a warrant to be able to "investigate" your unit. Cops are not allowed to just go into your vehicle without permision unless in the seach or dangerous weapons within your imediate vicinity, and then they can only look for what is in plain site and easily accessible, for example, no opening the glove box or any other boxes etc in your vehicle, that would require a warran
  15. That I can aggree with. And I also dont feel that the upgrade disc should be 250 bucks esp if there is known issues with the programming. Pioneer should be more willing to offer a resonable solution.
  16. Agreed, People are always quick to point out faults of something yet rarely tend to comment on its good aspects. Yes I agree that the Nav on the D3 has issues, and that the iPod Interface, while good, could used a little work, and the Sirius Interface is a little lacking, but overall its still a great unit. And with the current pricing, you can scoop one up for one hell of a deal. Think about it this way. Just 6-7 years ago for 600 bucks I bought a DEH-P9000, now you can get a D3 for less than that. I call that a screamin deal.
  17. It will work, have sucessfully used it on both WM5 and WM6 phones.
  18. The only slight complaint I have about the night mode being automatic with the headlights is the rainy days, it makes it a little harder to see. But they have been few lately so I just deal with it. I just adjust the dimmer for that day and then readjust it later.
  19. Well I said serial number, I meant phone ID number, I think it may also be called the ESN number, you need that to register your copy of Jetware... See here.... http://www.jetwaremobile.com/bthfx/purchase_Step2.html
  20. Well Good Luck to you. Remember its easier to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission. (Tip: Flowers usually help in the begging for forgiveness activities.)
  21. Well I can tell you, at least with me anyway, what daddy does is what my son wants to do. Hes only three, but would rather be with me on a tractor or my old man in the crawfish pond than watching tv. Best of luck convincing your wife that you NEED those new twelves....
  22. Your never too old for something you enjoy. I guess im just lucky to have a wife who doesnt mind such things. And with my son, man I wish I had the toys he does... but I guess thats what its all about, I love to see him happy. When Daddy gets a "toy" so does my son. The wifey too btw... I just recent got schooled on Coach purses. (P.S. Stay away from the Coach Store....)
  23. You can use the free version for 30 days to see if you like it, make sure it works with your phone etc.... However, for the registered version you have to provide your phones serial number and that registered copy is valid only for that phone, so it cannot be shared. Beside its only 15 bucks. I feel its worth it just to be able to transfer the whole phone book over at one time instead of one by one. Just my 2 cents.
