It is just on with double back tape. If needed I could put a screw in there. Unless you really look for it you do not see it. I had one of my friends go back there and look for it and he did not notice it there. I have it back an inch or so behind the edge.

ok, this module sucks for it interface. How do you know when you are getting HD channels? How do you get it to go to the second part ie. 106.3-2?

Oh, I have used them and I know plenty of people that have them. Most of them are complaining about how many time they will not work standing right next to the vehicle let alone the range it is suppose to do. And no offense, but just because all of the big box stores carry them dont mean crap, go to best buy or circuit city and try to talk to them about car alarms. Most of them there dont have a clue what they are selling. There is many products out there by many different manufactures and last time I checked this was America and people had choices about what they choice and it was a recommen

If you want a kick ass alarm go with Compustar. heard of way too many issues with DEI's stuff. The guy that installed mine said he wont even put DEI modules in DEI systems, he uses computar modules. Got it and it works awesome. http://www.compustar.com/main.htm

How truly pitifull. There top of the line stereo and they do not have native HD capacity. I can buy a $60 stereo from best buy that has HD functionality built in. Pioneer should really be embarrassed by that.

looks like you can still get get fm. here is what is stated about teh antenna "Car antenna cable (form vehicle’s antenna) Connect the car antenna cable to this unit’s antenna input. It is not necessary to connect to head unit’s antenna input. If you use this unit with a navigation system that can receive traffic information from the built-in FM tuner, connect the car antenna cable to both this unit and the navigation system with an antenna splitter or to a separate antenna."

disregard, I read the owneers manual and it states the following head units operate this unit as an external unit. For more details about the external unit, refer to the head unit’s manual. Head unit group 4 The following head units are navigation units featuring touch panel key operation. AVIC-D2, AVIC-N2, AVIC-N3, AVIC-Z1, AVIC-Z2, AVIC-D3, AVIC-N4

Will this work with the Z2? It states "External Control" capable with other Pioneer IP-Bus headunits, a/v receivers and navigation systems, with some limitations of display and control.
