Did you try ejecting and reinserting the disc? My Avic 80 will occasionally do this and I find reinserting the disc usually fixes it.

Are you using a retail disc or a copy of one?

Answered in quote some.. As already mentioned by some others, Heat shrink and solder is your friend. A terminal strip works wonders as well and cleans up nicely.

Some clients will allow you to download only what you want from a torrent as well. For instance if you don't like a full album and its not being hosted as a single compressed file you can select the song you want and not get the others. There is also mininova.org..

West Coast Disc is on the way...how did you manage test mode for your Navi? I can get to my HU's test mode. Just noticed you have a 9DVD and I have an 80..probably different..

lol. Thats a lot of adaptors. But you are correct. I'm using a 5 in 1 adaptor card currently. You can load images with it and save your addresses to it. One issue I have about loading images. I tried some of the different sizes they have listed in the background section on this site, however my pics always end up centered with a huge border around it. Am I missing something?

You do not need to run them all the same. It sounds like the 3rd channel is its own seperate circuitry. The way your asking about setting it up sounds fine.

In the manual it says it uses a pc card type. I've never seen that type of memory card. Would a pc card adaptor work? Or could someone point me in a direction?

Talk to your DM if and ONLY if you know its a scam. Store managers absolutely hate hearing from them When I worked for CCity Idid the same to my store manager. Within a day we were having a private meeting to "resolve issues" lol. If its really as shady as you beleive and you can't get your store manager to help you then go above him. It will relieve you of the guilt in your stomach some and put egg on your managers face. Keep in mind if yo do go above his head you make damn sure you're plate is clean(no write ups or delinquencies).

Well Iburned the West Coast disc. It seems to be loading ok. BUt its hard to tell. The monitor I got for my Avic 80dvd doesn't seem to be functioning correctly. So I have to re-route some cabling and hook it up to my 6800dvd. Looks like I may have to get rid of my VDP

ohhh..can you hook me up ? I've been looking and found them on ebay. As far as torrents go I've only found the Europe ones.

My 99 Cougar and AVH 6800dvd. I also have the VDP installed with an Avic 80dvd/6210WD on the way.

I'm currently running a 6800DVD and VG VDP. I really like that I can monitor the dynamics in what my car is doing with this unit. However it lacks navi. Being the teh VDP is not compatible with the Z2, does it have similar features embedded in it to offset the incompatibility?

My 6800dvd did the same. You need to release the parking brake and re-apply it. I can't remember exactly the whole routine. I did it and mine came up fine afterwards.I may have missed something inbetween but that's what I remember.

Yep thats me. I just wanted to say great site you guys have here. Although I don't own a Navi unit I have had numerous other questions regarding my equipment answered. I recently picked up a 6800DVD on ebay for $150 with a cracked Touch screen and LCD. After some research I found a Service manual for it and quickly ordered the replacement pieces needed. I spent roughly $500 on a brand new unit. This piece had never been installed until now. I also had sitting on the shelf, a AVG-VDP1 waiting to go in. I'm upgrading from a DVH-P5000MP deck. I never got my hands on a 6210WD screen so I opted

I know its been alomst a year since this topic was posted however I now am in need of the service manual for the unit. I honestly can't see using it more than twice AT MOST. If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it. The nylon track that moves the screen has unattached itself from the rail. I just need to get in there without destroying my deck to see if I can re-affix it. Thanks for any possible help.
