I have a Z2 upgraded to a Z3 I am buyiung the new Z110BT this weekend but want to make sure I get the right stuff dont want to get told have to buy more stuff then I need. 1. Will my current XM tuner work with both music and traffic? 2. If not does anyone here have MSN Direct Traffic in Houston and do you like it? Thanks guys.. for all your help.

On the new Z can you still get XM Nav traffic or do you have to use the MSN? Will my XM rec work with the new z?

Thanks for the info... yea I hear on the Pioneer issues, but I still will wait and see. When I bought my Z1 it was one of the first and the heat issue got me and then the first map update took like 3 hours to do and I have to push retry like 1000 times to get the update to work it was horrible.... Now that I am at the Z3 level software it seems to work perfect and I use it all the time.... but the new one looks to be even more better. Anyone use MSN traffic now in Houston, TX if so what do you think of it?

I like the new Z but I have to say I am going to wait and see what everyone says after they install it. Been down this road before getting caught up in the hype and all and then there are like tons of bugs. One thing I have learned is Pioneer does not do enough real world testing. Just my .02 cents. Will be waiting for good post after installs I hope. Jason one more questions can we still use XM nav traffic instead of the MSN deal?

Does the harness stay the same? I guess what I am asking is will I have to have it re-installed again or could I take out my current Z3 and just hook up my connections to the new Z?

No it will not work.. the buttons are not visible unless you modify the plastic housing. I would not do. I have a new one and a 2007 F-150 and tried it... Ford uses the Z as there Nav system I went back and had them install it and it works good.. was not cheap... about $2400 but it works great ....

Yea its a total change in the interior...

Has anyone or do you know if a Z will work in the 2009 F-150? Trading in my 06 for the new one but done know if I should get their nav system or keep my Z I like mine because its XM and has the traffic. Your help is appreciated. Thanks David

Anyone heard of a New Z series Nav coming out anytime... I have the Z3 but would like it to have more functionality... wondering if and when Pioneer plans to put out a new one.....

I would not... I have two sitting on the shelve in the garage... F90BT and I put the Z3 and the D3 back in my cars... I think Pioneer could have had a great item here but failed to really test the unit or $$$ rushed them to production... Sad... Pioneer has taken a really big hit for this. The sad part is most people will be more carefull not to rush out and buy Pioneer on a new release item. I mean come on guys and girls.. if you bought a car and it had problems like this would you be like Oh ok Mr. Car Company I will wait for a update to make it work better... Hell No...

I have the NEW HD for the Z3 image... From Greytoomy... and mine works fine... try a different CD or not a burned one and see how that works.

If everyone would contact their Attorney General they would have to do a recall but it takes everyone to make it happen. Pioneer has lost a my respect.

Oh and still have some major issues..... Great Job Pioneer....

Folks... complain to your attorney general.... that will put a bug in their ass.... make them think twice before releasing a poor unit... call the CEO and complain...but this forum is doing nothing for anyone... but a venting of many pissed off people...

My issue with the other Navs are they look cheap, where as Pioneer seems to have better looking maps and interfaces though they dont always work... LOL F Series.... I think my Z series is great... upgrade to the Z3 seems to just work better....

Just get a Z3... they are the same Z1 Z2 Z3... just updated versions... Z3 being the latest...

Well it happened late last night... get ready for some great programming from both XM and Sirius. the merger is approved. I can't wait to see what my stock does on Monday.....

Yea still have issue though... I bought two of them... sitting on the bookshelf... I want a unit 100% not partially fixed... funny how we except to pay for a product that works some and not all....
