I read an article that they actually work harder for car manufactures DVD's then their condumer brand. This is because more and more cars have Navs when you buy them... makes sense where is the money...

A company like Pioneer should not have released such a problematic nav to begin with ..... Oh I like the part of we have released a FREE update... well no shit you better had made it Free.... like we dont deserve that... Whatever Pioneer...

No I am sorry but I own two Z1's updated to Z3's.... and I bought 2 F90BT's and they both have had nothing but issues. Pioneer has no excuses for releasing it as fast as they did with the issues these have. Shame on them for not testing them. I will never buy their products out of the gate like that again. I think the Z''s workd great and will keep using them until they release a fix and everyone in this forum is happy with the F units... AGAIN Shame on Pioneer...

I noticed this original post was on July 16th... does that mean a fix for the F-series is still not out? I have two really nice paper weights. Have a I missued the update?

yup I agree when I put mine in that was the first thing I noticed... so keeping my Z2 in looks cleaner and more stock.

Looks clean... I have the Z2 in mine F150 I think it looks more factory though.. the chrome wheel stands out. I have a f90bt that I bought installed and now it sits on the shelf because I had to many problems. I put the Z back in and I think I will stick with that for awhile.. but it sure looks good on your truck...

Its funny people keep posting their issues here in the hopes that Pioneer will listen and I think we all know that will not happen. I was so pumped about the F-Series that I bought 2 had them installed and removed the Z2 and D3's, I went last weekend and had them put back in and I have since added the 2 F90BT's to my collection of stuff on my shelf. But you know first time shame on Pioneer second time shame on me... however there will not be a second time. I think they rushed this out to get it to market and did not test it in the real world.

Finally XM and Sirius get approval to merge. Well from the head FCC guy so all should fall in place... we should get some real good value soon.

I have had both XM and Sirus... I like Sirus sound quality over the XM but I am now with XM becuase it is cheaper to have Nav Traffic for 2 cars. Which by the way I am not impressed with MSN DIRECT. But I sure hope they merge soon so my stock will go up and I can make $$$$.... Sirius has one show I miss now and that was Bubba The Love Sponge on after Howard Stern...

I did not say sue... I said contact the Attorney General they will make a complaint that can not fall on deaf ears. Oh research and development is their to make sure it all works together and right.

Folks I hate to say this but Pioneer cares about selling... like I said before start complaining to the Attorney Generals in your states if enough people do then Pioneer will have to change the standards of releasing. We were all hyped up about this release, but like I said sounds like to me they have no R&D group to test and research these issues. I have found calling them does nothing. Sorry but looks like we have been had again.

my unit is working ok... I expected it to be a little more hmmm whats the word.... well like a factory radio nav system. After market should be the best... I have to ask does Pioneer not have a R&D department to test these units? I mean of all the problems you are having they should have seen these already and fixed them. Contact your attorney generals office and file a complaint....then they will release better quality products the first time. I have since put my Z1 upgraded to a Z3 back in...

See thats the thing for me.. I use XM Traffic here in Houston, Tx and it works great.... keeps my ass free of traffic... I am affraid of the MSN deal as their stuff seems to always have problems.. anyone have thoughts on MSN Direct?

thats a pretty good quote but anyone in Houston TX should go to my guy Auto Sound Discounters they are installing the unit everything for $895 tell them David sent you and your good to go. Ask for Sam he is the guy I deal with all the time. They are good people and will do you right. He has 5 in stock and waiting on 100 more that have been backordered...

Ok talked to my guy... he is getting me a quote for 60 units. So if we did do this how do we pay thig guy. I mean I could give him a list and you all call and do your deals over the phone I guess with a CC info and all that. I have a dealer here in Houston, TX when he buys he buys in bulk... when the Z1 came out the day of release he had 500 on the shelf... Should I ask him about a bulk discount too. Dont want to step on anyone just a thought.
