I got this message installing a bad CNDV-90MT West disk, I tried everything including getting into the service menu, no luck. I sent my D3 to Same Day Audio Repair Service in Virginia (ebay seller "rch72") on Friday Feb. 5 and received it back on Friday Feb. 13. Total cost $102 plus shipping to them. Got a full test/diagnostic report back with it along with a set of burned CNDV-90MT disks that work perfectly. The unit works perfectly now. I can't say enough about these folks, they did a great job and called me several times during the process to let me know how it was going. Unfort

Can you hear the cooling fan running? If so, verify that nothing is blocking the inlet.

The RCA's alone won't drive a speaker. You need to plug them into an amplifier and then let the amplifier drive the speaker.

Which model head unit do you have and what version did you upgrade from? I have a D3 and upgraded from CNDV-80MT, I did not notice any of the improvements that you did.

I wouldn't expect any firmware updates for the D3. Pioneer will continue to sell map upgrades, but all R&D efforts are focused on current and future models.

No reason why it shouldn't. -
If you still need one PM me. I think I have a few burned East disks (working) laying around. I won't rip you off by selling them to you, but you pay Priority Mail shipping cost. Fair?

I have my BT between the D3 and the XM unit. I haven't tried it any other way and mine works fine. I don't think it matters though as both devices have a iPBus passthrough.

You need the Pioneer cable to control the ipod from the D3. So you need the 2 cables to do what you want.

Is the Nav DVD in the unit when this happens?

You could always find the POI you are going to and add it to the route

I believe that oval is the IR sensor for the Pioneer remote. Not sure if it will work with anything else.

Do you have an amp hooked up?
