I'm having the same problem. Did you get it fixed? Was it the licence file? I think I erased my original licence file while copy/paste. Is the licence file unique to each unit or licence file from any F500BT will work? Thanks for your help in advance.

My F500BT is stuck on splash screen after the upgrade. I think I lost a original licence file during upgrades and don't have a original back up(I'm stupid ) Can someone post a original licence file for me to download? Thanks in advance for your help.

I got in I needed to press reset button on the back of the unit to get into testmode.

I have F500BT with firmware 2.0 and I can't get into test mode either. Two folders are on root and I've tried reformatting my SD card also. What's wrong? When I turn on the unit nothing happends just normal map comes up. Please help.

First I'll like to thank everyone who worked hard on the Z3 upgrade. I did the upgrade on 40gb toshiba hdd. everything works fine at first til I put the cd in. Avic rebooted, so check around to see what's wrong and my avic is telling me I have 0% on hdd??? I took the hdd out and check on my pc and there's 19gb of empty space on MSV partition. So I changed it back to 9.5gb and samething. Than I reimaged the hdd with original(9.5gb) and the samething happened. If I turn off the recording the cd plays fine w/o reboot. What am I doing wrong??? Please help. Thanks.

What did you burn the CD with? If you burned it with window explorer it will not work. You need to burn it with burning program, such as Nero.

It should work, at least for me. Thanks for the quick reply. So it worked for you? Did it improved the performance? and are you using it now? Any cons??? Sorry for so many questions.

Have you tried the Flash Card? It's a lot cheaper now $140 @ newegg plus $10 for 2.5" adapter. I'll love have this mod if it works.
