since you are JUST KIDDING about putting the torrents up for us guys that want to make our own, are you going to sell the discs as a set or will you sell only 1 disc? also, how much?

I let a shop do the install in my Cadillac CTS. Pretty straight forward when all said and done, just wanted it done. Glad it worked out.

i am not 100% on this, but my guess would be no. just because it has a factory Nav installed doesn't make it plug and play with aftermarket stuff. i would say search around and you can probably find a harness to make the install easier.

welcome. i can't give you allot of knowledge with the D3 and the Touch together. i have an old dinsoaur Ipod that works without fail. I would fear "knock-off cables" cables from ebay. I mean, is the D3 a real one or a knock-off? i have an extra iPod cable that i aquired, get in touch with me and i can set you up. as far as the album covers, not sure if they will show or not. they show on my ipod but not on the D3. but again, i have an old iPod.

you can check out www.fatwallet.com and do a search for XM radio. if you work it right and get the right service rep, they will do $77 a year subscription. these companies are trying to add and keep as many customers as possible. i was paying $20 bucks a month for "best of" and called to cancel. the rep was quick to offer a reduced rate to keep me. i can only guess that it will work with new suscribers. give it a shot. i love my XM.

Yeah, it can be a PITA sometimes. I had a hard time with last years update, getting the right combination. This years i used the same program and discs and everything went great.

you just need to google the phrase " convert winrar to iso" and you can find your answer on one of the many links. Bottom line is that, "just about any decent cd burning program can do it, such as Nero or Roxio" You may have to read through some of the forums, but the answer is there.

OK, I downloaded and installed PowerISO, burned the ISO to a DL DVD and it STILL doesn't work. not sure why it wouldn't work. i burned last years and this years update the same way. did you make sure you verified the disc?

if you would like to give powerISO a shot, here is a link to a free download. http://www.poweriso.com/ I have been using the trail version for last years and this years version. download and install it. it show two panes, files on the left and folders on the right. as long as you have the file highlighted in the left hand pane and you have the DL DVD inserted, click burn on lowest speed and check verify disc. i wish i could be more for you. or try this link: http://download.cnet.com/PowerISO/3000- ... 39118.html

from the picture you posted, can you go BACK one screen? when i burned using powerISO, the name of the file i burned was 200909302220. i have never used the program you are trying to use.

looks like you have opened the file. what you are seeing are the folders. you want to burn the entire ISO file.

there have been posts about the different software you can use to burn, and several different discs. I used PowerISO and Memorex DVD+R DL. It's just like burning a CD. You just want to burn at the slowest possible speed and make sure to verify the disc. I would think if the disc is correct and verified, you should be fine. i saw one post that said if you were running Windows 7, that you could burn with that and no other software was needed. good luck!!!
