  1. This is definitely a software issue. I am running the F series with the same 3.01 software as the X series. I noticed this problem when I upgraded to the the 3.0x software from the old 2.6 software. Don't think it is anything that can be fixed easily by us, will have to wait for a version update from Pioneer. I just got used to it and hit the Map button like you said, or hit the Audio source and then go back to the map.
  2. Pioneer screwed up somehow and I got the invoice for your 3.0 update emailed to me. Looks like everything else is fine because it is shipping to you in Alabama according to the ups tracking. Scheduled delivery is 8/14.
  3. Boyo also has them that just attach to the license plate or plate frame but is not a full plate frame itself. Thats what I got an I love it. Great Camera!
  4. The iphone will not let you create contact phone numbers without automatically adding adding parenthesis around the area code. The phone adds them automatically.
  5. I think the slight delay is just something that will always be there unfortunately. Because it is a signal going to one device that then processes it and sends another signal to the head unit, the delay is in that processing and relay.
  6. Yeah, that's what a lot of people are talking about doing. I'm not sure its really worth it to me. System seems to work fine without and that would be a lot of extra time, effort, and money for something that I don't really need anyway. Rather spend the money on other upgrades. thanks though.
  7. Mazda_3... I have a 2006 MX5 GT (with DSP and Bose). I've been on some Mazda specific forums and it seems that a lot of people have been searching for awhile to find the location of the VSS on this car and they are getting closer to isolating it, but no luck yet. It seems that there is fairly good info on where to find it for the cars without the DSP system, but the cars with the DSP use a digital CAN BUS system to send info to the rest of the car, and what the VSS needs is an analog pulse signal. The problem is that the wiring diagrams show a VSS signal input to the CAN BUS, but don't specifi

    Power Off?

Am I missing something? Just installed my F900 yesterday. Love it. Anyhow, I was just wondering where the basic power "OFF" button is? Not that I will use it that often, but I do want that ability sometimes. Am I just blind and missing it? Thanks
  9. Nope. The way the programming scheme works is that for my car it bunches the volume up/down and the scan up/down onto one button. I don't have a separate preset up down. The button originally was volume up/down and preset up/down on my car's original SWC, but the PAC-SWI clusters the buttons differently, so you kind of have to sacrifice a little, but its better than no SWC at all.
  10. I have search all over Google and here and can't seem to find anyone who knows where I can tap the VSS in my car, 2006 Mazda MX5. If anyone can help I would be forever in your debt. Thanks
  11. Thanks so much mazda_3 and everyone else. This worked great! No problems. Just spent 6 hours today installing my brand new F900. Love it! Only thing left to do is to tap the VSS as soon as I can find out where it is. Thanks
  12. Thanks mazda_3. That helps a lot. Can't wait to get this stuff into the car!
  13. Thanks! Thats what I need to know. I don't really like the Piano Black of the 900 and don't need to play DVDs, but if the 700 was Gray instead of Matte Black, I would have like that even less. thanks again
