  1. What cameltowing said. Check your wiring.
  2. You can get some of the double layer dvds at your local electronic store, bad thing is they only come in 25 or more lol. I used Nero Start Smart and had no issues with the maps, I know some people have used imgburn software before but I had Nero in my library already.

    Amazon??

If you buy from amazon direct then there is no issues, its when you buy from other users where you have to take caution just like ebay.
  4. If you have a double layer burner then you need to get some double layer dvds and Nero Start Smart.
  5. I used Nero Smart and it worked to perfection. I just followed the steps from the OP and everything worked.
  6. Just like previously stated, you need a dual layer burner and dual layer dvd.
  7. Sounds like they did not tap into the VSS wire and connect your brake wire. Take it back and have them do it right.
  8. Did you go to the Navigation menu and go to settings? You can then change the background pics with the pics from your disc.
  9. I use nero start smart, makes burning custom backgrounds simple.
  10. I used Nero Express and worked out great. Thanks to everyone for posting up the great tips.
  11. I registered my storm and it connect automatically as soon as I turn on the Blue tooth. I am still trying to figure out how to transfer my contacts.
  12. anyone have the 2008 version?
  13. I have the LGVX8700 and I was able to pair it to the Pioneer BT, but I only get the BT Audio confirming that the phone is connected but when I switch to BT-Tel it says invalid device or no connection. I tried to register the phone but the lines are greyd out. What am I doing wrong? Yes I did a search and found someone had the 8700 issues and I tried doing what they did and it did not work. What am I doing wrong? BT does work since where I got it installed the guy showed me his phone was able to connect to the BT(His phone is not registered to the Pioneer BT). Thanks in advance
  14. Thanks HiFi for the link, will have a look at the web site and book mark it as well. These will play on the D3 correct?

  16. What kind of car is this going to? You can always go on Crutchfield and get the harness from them.
  17. Sounds like a deal to me. I think every radio will have its positive and negative. I am looking for a D3 myself even though its been discontinued.
  18. You can't beat the stock looking cover as a theft deterrent.
  19. Hey Everyone, I was told to join these forums by another member here to get more info on the D3 since I am looking to upgrade my AVH-5700 that I currently own. I was lurking around for a few days and decided to join. I am looking forward to getting more info on the other Pioneer products.
