Will we be able to stream music with the iPod/iPhone with Bluetooth and control the playlists/functionality on the headunit? Currently all we can do is pause and play via bluetooth.

Nvm... I just took the plunge and bought it from Amazon. It's better than paying full price and I got tired of watching this thread 10 times a day hoping someone will get it to work...

Let me know when you get it, I want to see if they include both SD cards, one for the Navi upgrade and the other for the Bluetooth upgrade. If so, I'll do the same.

This is definitely not happening.... looks like I'll just have to save up some extra cash to buy the upgrade... Anyone bought it from Amazon yet? Do they also include the 2nd SD card for the bluetooth update?

What I don't understand is when I had an iPhone 3GS the contacts were showing correctly by firstname-lastname. When I upgraded to iPhone 4 iOS 4.0 now the contacts are showing backwards on the headunit by lastname-firstname. This is extremely annoying.

I have the same exact problem!!! Before iPhone 4 or iOS4 my contacts on the AVIC-Z110 were sorted by first name and then last name. Now they are sorted by last name then first name. Is there any way to change this? I went into every single option on the headunit. On my phone they are sorted by first name and last name so I'm not sure why it didn't sync over the same way. Before it wasn't a problem... Maybe this is a bug?

The testmode file that VBLUE42 linked to worked perfectly. The testmode in the sticky does not work. The testmode booted up into windows automotive instantly. Thank you guys!

I am running the version of testmode that is posted in the "FAQ: Hacks & Modification :: READ BEFORE POSTING!" sticky thread. What's weird is it places a new file onto the SD card when I put it into the unit called "device.nng" The only files I put on the SD card are the two folders in the compressed testmode.zip. Sorry, didn't mean to come off that way. I meant the X910BT. I searched all over the forum for hours and read every single thread on testmode. It seems like i'm doing everything correctly.. this is a 8GB SD card, extracted both folders onto card. Put card in unit and turned ignition on. There is no copying of files... and no X anywhere. I even used WinRAR to extract files. Do you know what the problem may be?

The file that was written to the SD card from the unit is called "device.nng" I don't know how this file got there? Unit must be writing it on the SD card.

Hi! I cannot get testmode to work using an 8GB SD card on the AVIC-X910BT. I tried formatting the SD card, extracting onto the SD card, made sure both folders were in root directory. When I pop the SD card in, the pioneer just boots normally. There is one file that appears on the SD card's root directory after I take the card out from the unit that I did not transfer onto it. The file is called device.nng. Anyone know what could be the problem? I do have the newest firmware on this. Your help is appreciated! Thank you.

The other amp I have is a 500/1 for subs, so i'm not sure if I can take the speaker RCA's and plug them in that amp... can I? Another problem I have been having is that the battery is going dead after not starting the car for about 10 hours. I got the battery tested and it came back as a good battery with no bad cells. The battery started to go dead when I started to have sound system problems.... I don't know if I should rip apart my trunk first or my dash and get the headunit out. Could this be a problem with the headunit? Or is it likely with the amps?

i'm having sound system problems and am unsure of what the problem is. I dont know yet if it is the headunit or the amp, but the music is playing extremely low, like 20x lower than usual. My subs are playing at normal volume but you can't hear normal volume music. It comes out of the speakers extremely low. I have a JL 300/4 amp controling four speakers and a JL 500/1 for two subs. JL amp lights are still green so I suspect it has something to do with the headunit. Video does output through the 3.5mm jack. There is no mic channel on the cable, it is video. The USB portion of the cable only supports control and charging. Your right! The 3.5mm jack wasn't plugged in all the way so the audio would work, but video would never. Now the video works! Thanks so much!! Sorry, it's probably easier if I just show you the wiring diagram. Part A or Part B? Part B, would be the USB connection right? That's where the AV comes from?

Do you mean the female part of the USB cable coming out of the unit which also has the female part of the audio jack that connects to the CD-IU50V cable? Or do you mean the actual connection on the backside of the avic-z110bt?

I have the same problem. I am using the Pioneer CD-IU50V cable and when I click on a video through the pioneer menu going through my iphone 3GS a black screen comes up. I can only hear audio but not video on the screen. It just stays black. Even when I put it in video mode, I try going to youtube and play a movie and the avic screen still stays black, you can only hear the youtube audio. What could be wrong? Are there any settings that need to be turned on? Thanks!

It would be great if we could connect the iphone to the car via bluetooth and control the songs through the screen rather than the phone... There's got to be a way to do it...

Hey guys, I was wondering if there was a way to get rid of the caution screen everytime you boot the pioneer unit up. You have to click "Ok" everytime you turn the car on when the unit boots up. Is there anyway to get rid of that screen? Thanks.
