Read the manual... it's in there. They just hid it... I think it's near page 154 or something... (off the top of my head)

iphone transfer went easy but when you have multiple numbers for a contact there is still that bug where the avic doesn't know what to do so it creates an individual contact for each number... resulting in the same name for different numbers and you don't know what is what until you call them.

If you are on Windows then use WinRAR and compress it as a .zip using that program and you shouldn't have a problem.

The normal file where a map hack is had. "navigatemap_800_480.ui"

Just for information sake can some one maybe make a directory listing of the flash portion. I have a scary feeling that I might have moved a file into the wrong folder but I can't tell. That would be something similar to the .bmp listing on another post.

if it's that amazing then you better take a picture. My EQ get's reset every time i reset the unit so I'm sure the firmware update will do at least one reset.

The files were under the "DATA/sound" folder. I can confirm that deleting these files seems at the moment not to cause any problems...

Just FYI..I got my 16gb card to work after I reformatted in Vista with the default FAT32 and then I moved my videos into a "Video" folder along with a "Music" folder

I would do anything for this feature.. I love in all the other vehicles I drive. -
I just added an amp to my 900. I do have lots of hiss when I set the amplifier gain where I would like it. The 900 has the lower voltage preout, so you should have less hiss than with my setup. More voltage normally means less hiss... not the reverse.

I have a "transcend 16gb class 6 card" formatted with fat32 with the default sector size and it doesn't work. Is there anyone out there that has gotten these to work? Hoping that you can post the specs of the card so we can all learn what works. Thanks!

I also get failed connection on my 1g ipod Nano. Irritating to say the least.
