Just did this and it worked like a champ! Now, if there was just some way to get updated GPS maps without having to pay $120 every time...

It sounds like a contact is not connecting. I have never taken mine, so I do not know what it looks like. Re-seating it again is not helping?

I just picked my truck up from getting it serviced at the stealer, uh I mean dealer. When turning on, the radio is asking me for a password. I have never set one before and I don't have one. Of course the mechanic and valet said they never touched it, even though there are finger prints all over the screen and I cleaned it when I dropped it off. Pioneer said I have to send it to them and pay $80 to get fixed. IS there any way to do a default reset on the head unit to avoid this? Avic-x930bt

as long as you follow the guidelines in the manual

Well, since I received virtually no help on getting this to work, I finally had some time at work on Friday to figure this out. I was not able to get any videos to play even though I had the right formatting (H.264 Codec) with iPhone & iPod Touch Preset. In order to get videos to play, I adjusted the picture size to 320 x 176 with the above settings. After doing this, all of my videos are playable. I am still playing around with different sizes to see what the max is. I hope this helps anyone that is still stuck and looking for help to get videos to play..

Do the videos have to be in a specific folder on the SD Card?

I am having the same problem I know on my F90bt you had to have a folder called Video. Do you still have to do that? I currently have a 930BT and can't get videos to play.

If anyone has installed a double din unit in a 04-08 F150, which dash kit did you use? I do not like the Metra Turbo Kit for this model vehicle. Guess I will have to keep playing around with it to see If i can get it to look right. Thanks.

I agree with RiccoFX, Once calibrated it works fine with no lag. The internal gyro and accelerometer have to dial in to it's environment.

Yes, you can leave it in the middle and you should be just fine. The other option is ti run splitters on the RCA's

I'm hoping it's the same mic they use on the home units.

Thanks for the info. I will keep out it. I do imagine that you have to connect it vis usb to listen to music on it though..

I got a new iPhone from work yesterday and it will not connect to my F90bt via bluetooth. Do you have to use it with the supplied usb cable to use it as a phone?

I'm using a hotel computer. Can't download anything on it.
