  10. Swan, It's not really that easy to do it..You'll need to extract the contents of the image.res and edit all the icons you want. Make sure they are in BMP windows format otherwise the unit won't read them. After changing everything you want just zip it bakt using a software called 7zp (google for it) and compress it as a .7zp file, change the extensio to .res and copy it back to the unit... Here's a them that I did.... http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21840 Maybe it's a good start. GUGA

  16. Ceger, I don't have XM here in Brazil, so I can't test it....but probably they are kept in the same image.res file....If you want to take a picture of the unit when the XM is active I can search them for you. 23. Guys, I had a problem in a 500bt.....after installing and removing the unit 10 times, checking all the grouding, etc..... I found out that sometimes, depending on your car, you need to use a ground loop isolator to fix all the buzzing. This happens because of impedance difference between the grounds of the car. It costs US$ 12,00, can be bought in any radioshack and it's pretty simple to install. Not sure if this will fix the issue but it worth a try. GUGA
  24. Exactly the same problem I had.... I bought a 120gb so I can rip all my dvds and convert them to ipod format....now I have almost 20gb of music + 50gb of video. 1hr video = 600mb. The quality is awesome and I don't have to carry my dvds... GUGA
  25. Hierog, The problem is not with the software version of the ipod but with the generation of it. The older generation don't support USB Controls thus they're not compatible with AVIC. Here's the link of the compatibility chart. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/ephox ... 0Chart.pdf GUGA
