Im having caller ID issues with my 8125 and WM6. The Jetware software is working properly, but when someone calls, the D3 still shows as "unknown" even though I've transferred my whole phonebook to the unit. I've tried with the caller ID function checked and unchecked in the Jetware software. Anyone got any ideas? Kryptonite Ps ( and yes, the call is coming from a phone number in the phonebook; for all you wise guys out there...)

Anyone tried with an 8125 on Windows Mobile 6?

I've searched the forum but with no luck... Im trying to figure out if the Pioneer CD-BTB100 will work with my 8125 or if i should simply wait for the CD-BTB200 to drop in a few months... Also, if I do wait, should the secondary install be costly in comparison (100+) or is it something I could do? I share this same dilemma as I've bought the BD1 (bluetooth) for the Z1 and the ipod connector (cd100II or something like that), AND NOW I have decided to switch and get the D3. I really hate giving up the inch in screen size and just the cool factor of having a "Z1", but what da hell; for the ipod connectivity and the color changing interface, it will match my BMW's dash lighting perfectly and give me movies galore. Anyone know if the detailed city map (Detailed City Map: Not Available ) means that the D3 will NOT have the nidce 3D views that the Z1 has?

Lets talk tech: DVD's are the source for NAV data on the D3. Any ideas whether a (Pioneer) XDV-P90 DVD Changer will pass the DVD NAV data to the unit? This would eliminate the hassle of having to swap disc on the fly.. (w/o the use of gold/green pixie dust...)

Pioneer makes the XDV-P90, which is a 6 Disc DVD player. If this could hold the NAV disc(s) for the D3 and other data DVD's AND access them all when needed, that would be awesome!

In the D3 forum area, someone mentioned that the D3 is at there local shop and he got hands on. Also, another person was at CES and got hands on. So, Im posting this here because I know there is a natural bias to the Z1/Z2 and I need to be swayed...

So, Im placing something into My X5 and up until now, I've been focusing on the Z1 (got BT, IPOD, NAVTRAF, PAC controls,etc. all for the Z1). Well, after seeing this push of the D3, I'm a bit skeptical on going to the Z1/Z2, especially when i hear about so much improvement over all other (American) AVIC models by the D3. Any input, compare - contrast, etc?

Here's a few questions I haven't seen posted: Since the device plays divX natively, do you think it plays Xvid? What exactly is the "bluetooth streaming" that this unit is talking about? Can it access my iPod as a standard hard drive instead of just a ipod? What kind of mod options will we have for unlocking full controls while driving? Any ideas?

ok, i called 6ave and some A_Hole told me the warranty was $299 and the unit was $1799. WTF? I explained that I was under the impression that it was $1499, and he said that was a sale and to call back in a couple of weeks. Luckily I was at work, or i woulda ripped him a new one...
