Me too. I spoke to Pioneer this afternoon and they said the server was down. With the server being in Japan and the fact that it is Saturday over there already, he thought it may be Monday before it is back up.

How did you get a tracking number? Did you upgrade your shipping or something? Mine just says shipped.

What "last update". If you aren't talking about 3.0, then what update are you talking about? I just did 2.006 and I lost the VR setting. What update are you on??

The problem you are having sounds similar to one I was just having. Turns out, the backup camera option was turned mysteriously from OFF to ON (I don't have a backup camera). I turned it back to OFF and it doesn't go black anymore. I had another unit go black which required a completely different fix. The main difference I could tell between the 2 problems is that in the first one I described the radio comes on with a black screen. With the other problem, no radio, just pioneer logo then a dead unit.

Having just installed 2.006, my iPod works but in the brief time I had to play with it I noticed that the VR button was missing. It didn't catalog my iPod so I assume it is off and I wonder how (or if) any newly added songs would make its way to VR without that button. I also was unable to bring up the VR menu (by pressing in on the knob) although I only tried once

Due to a screwy F90BT I had to reload the original firmware today. Since I had to do that I figure I may as well to 2.006....big mistake. It works again but the VR Catalog button is gone and VR works worse than before (it actually used to work pretty good). I'm thinking of going forward with 3.0 as described here. just curious, does the 'VR Catalog Mode' button reappear in 3.0? Does the VR work (with iPod) as good as it did in 2.000? Thanks

I just installed 2.006 on my AVIC-F90BT. I have a couple of questions: 1. Where did the VR catalog mode go? I can't seem to find it. 2. When I updated, I was supposed to update the languages too but as I followed the instructions to get to the laguage update area, the button beside the work language was filled with about 10 squares, no characters (like maybe it was supposed to say something on the button but it was maybe garbled?). When I press it, my unit locks up - did I have an error on my update or something?

Wow. Thanks. I haven't noticed some of those things on mine - but I might now ! I guess I've adapted to most of it, like just making a phone call and when the bluetooth kicks in (probably 60-90 secs), it just starts and I put the phone down and use the bluetooth - I also don't have any volume issues. Nor do I have a backup camera. I would have hoped that they (Pioneer) would've addressed this for those that do. Good luck with your next unit.

Tacomaboy, I'm curious what your long list of complaints are. Not saying at all I'm not aware of the issues, but what is it that drives a guy to cuss like a sailor, rip it out of his dash and sell it? I've had a F90BT in my truck for almost a year now and I've been really happy with it, that's not to say there are things I wish werent (or were) there, but here's my long and short of 2.0 - I have AM/FM/XM, no problem there. - Bootup is slow - Navigation is fine (none are perfect, Ive had several), overall I like it - Bluetooth works fine -Voice recognition is adequate - TTS is ok (I

On the Windows screen, triple tap on My Computer, tap My Flash Disk to highlight, tap edit copy, close out back to Windows screen, triple tap on My COmputer again, this time highlight you card location click edit, then past. Voila, wait on the files to copy - it will take a while then turn off the key and eject the SD card. You flash disk contents are now on your card. BEFORE YOU START- make sure you calibrate your screen if your tapping is off you could possibly choose to CUT your flash disk instead of COPY it. If this happens, it will ask to confirm - just choose no.

Do you still use testmode to get into WinCE and access the flashdisk or does the X-series require a different approach?
