Is it possible to have the elevation always display in feet, as opposed to switching to miles once you get to a certain point? I am loving this set-up though. Thanks.

The mute and parking brake wires DO need to be grounded separately. You can attach one of these to the main harness ground, but the other needs to be grounded separately.

After having my 700 installed for less than 24 hours, I realized now why there are so in demand. The stock one sucks. I will be forwarding my payment for a standard stainless knob soon.

Have you tried deleting your phone's profile and pairing again? Might save you the hassle of ripping open the dash.

Which cable are you all using? Apple or Pioneer? That info might lead to a solution.

This is interesting on the VSS. I too am wiring up my GMOS-04 before my install this weekend. Does this also work on vehicles which did not come with factory nav? I wasn't planning on connecting the VSS wire as I figured it would be useless, but I might have to do that. Thanks.

Did you ever find the exact screen dimensions? I have a 700 on order, but am looking to purchase a screen protector, and would like these dimensions so I can order before hand and put the screen protector on right out of the box.
